**Manav's POV **
"I don't think she would ever do this. " Sid spoke.
"I agree too. Man, they are all rumors. They don't have to be true."Aamir said.
Picking up the bottle of whiskey, I poured myself another drink.
" You could have heard her. " Sid said, pressing the heel of his hand onto my shoulder, drawing my attention.
I rolled my eyes.
" I'm talking to you. " Sid shouted.
" I hear her out and be convinced of any shit she feeds me. I'M NOT A DOG. " I broke my silence.
"Who said it being about a dog? You could have heard her out, see what she has to say then use your brain to think. That is all I'm saying. " Sid explained.
" She deserves to be heard, man. " Aamir pitched in.
The glass in my hand tipped and I made another drink for myself.
"Manav..." Sid spoke.
"I don't care. She had her shit to say but I didn't have to hear. That's my call, okay? " I said through gritted teeth.
I muttered and walked out and towards my room, flopping on the bed.
The rumors, the gossip from that day flashed in front of my eyes. The events replayed itself.
" Have you seen J? " I ask a girl.
" I think she still in the marketing class. "She answered. Thanking her I ran towards the class to catch her. It's been like a whole day since I saw. After the first class shared by us, I had to go for football practice.
My eyes scanned the thinned crowd for Jiya at the class.
" Hey Manav! "Came a flirtatious voice.
" Hi Elena! "I said, my face twisted.
" What are you doing here? Were you looking for me? " She said.
" Well no but I'm surely looking for someone. Have you seen Jiya? "As I said that, her lips pursed.
" She left long ago. "She muttered. I nod and walk right. Her classes had ended and to the right came the exit.
I'm looking for her when I bang into to Yash.
" Sorry! " he mutters and walks away, his attention still distracted. He's been the same since a month or so.
" Yash... "
" Yea? " he turns.
" No greetings, nothing. Anyway, have you seen J? "I question.
" Apologies. I'm slightly preoccupied. And, yes, I have seen Jiya. She was leaving. "
" You all right, buddy? "
" Obviously! "Yash laughed.
" Catch you at the practice tomorrow."I said and he nodded. This 'So called greeting thing 'started because of football.
Knowing that Jiya left, I decided to leave to.

I checked my phone. There was no message, no call, nothing. That's unusual."She must be busy. " I tell myself.
"She will text you when she's free. Don't be clingy. She hates that remember?" I pep talk again.
