CHAPTER TWO: TYPICALI could feel my cheeks burn up and my heart pounding rapidly. Why does he have to be so hot?!?! Well, you can't blame me, a seventeen year old girl, for having crazy hormones wanting to just grab his face and start making out with him! It should be illegal to be this hot! Ugh!
He is coming closer to me. He cups my face with his hand and brings me closer to him making our lips brush against each other. Then he—

"Ugh! Why can't I stay in the dreamworld! My life with Dylan O'Brien is all I need!" I groaned as my alarm clock continues to alarm. I set it to snooze and go back to sleep. Sadly, my dream is now discontinued and I can't fall asleep again. Damn you alarm clock.
I do my usual morning routine—eat, brush my teeth, shower— and the outfit I have chosen are a white tank top, denim jacket, black legging and a gray scarf.
I stared at the mirror for a good six minutes just thinking. I miss my dad. I miss all the fun memories I had with my dad. I miss his laugh. His silliness. His company. I miss my life before all of this happened. I grab the family picture I set on my beside table. We looked so happy. I was on dad's back having a piggyback ride whilst Zoe and my mom were laughing at how my dad miserably failed in carrying a fifteen year old.
Why is this world so cruel to me? Well that's reality. I start to feel my eyes getting watery as I stare into our family picture. A teardrop fell on the glass of the frame. I quickly wipe my eyes, happy that I didn't add any mascara or eyeliner. Honestly, if I had mascara or eyeliner on, I would cry even more 'cause I'll have to get ready all over again. I place the picture down, smiling at it.
"Bree, we have to go!" I heard my mom yell from the hallway.
*~*~*~*
I was on my way to Biology class fourteen minutes before first bell. It was still pretty early so I doubt there are many people in the classroom yet. I entered the classroom to see Alex sitting at the back talking to some girl. They were clearly flirting with each other and then suddenly Alex leans in to kiss her. And now, there are having a full time make out session at the back. Eww!!!
"Enjoying the show?" A voice asked from behind me.
I turn around to see Reece smirking at me. I have two choices. Ignore him and walk away or ignore him and stay still.
"Snob much"
Can't you get the message that I do not want to talk to you? I mean usually the silent treatment does all the talking... That irony though. But it seems like he'll never get the idea that I clearly hate him.
"What do you want?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Not you" I heard him mutter.
Ouch!
"Rude much?"
His eyes slightly widen as he noticed that he said that out loud. But he quickly changes to a very smug look. "Hey, I'm just answering your question" he raises his hand in surrender, acting innocently.
"Then why did you talk to me in the first place?"
"Good question"
"If you're not going to leave then I will" I said walking to my seat. I see him take the empty seat next to me. This has just got to be my lucky day. I take out my notepad and started to doodle.
Poke.
Poke.
Poke.
He is getting on my nerves.
