CHAPTER SEVENTEEN :"Could you be a nice doll and carry me?" I asked panting, not looking at him.
We've been walking for an hour. I'm not athletic nor do I have a very strong stamina, I'm quite the opposite. Walking for an hour is like walking for three days; It's so freaking tiring.
By now, we were looking for a gas station- which seemed impossible to find- then we would have to walk back. I suggested calling someone to pick us up but it seemed that everyone we know is either at school or work.
I'm seriously thirsty, like, I think I might die of dehydration! I'm that thirsty. (A/N: To those who are thinking about the other thirsty, drink some holy water please.)
My phone started ringing, even before I could get it, Reece stole it from my pocket and answered it. I glared at him for touching my phone without my damn approval.
"AUBREY! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING TO SEE YOU GONE! AND WHY AREN'T YOU IN SCHOOL?" Blake yelled furiously.
I tried to snatch my phone back but Reece stretches his arm up so I won't be able to reach it. I'm not short, he's just really tall. I mean, I'm 5'7 and he's 6'2. He's too freaking tall for his own good. At one point, I stopped jumping to get my phone back and he gave me a victorious smirk.
"Sorry to disappoint you mate, but this isn't Aubrey." Reece said smugly.
"How do you have her phone?"
"She's beside me." He said in a 'duh' tone. I rolled my eyes at him.
There was silence for a few seconds until I noticed Blake had already hung up. Reece handed my phone back with a smirk, I glared at him in response.
Then I started to give him a motherly lecture on how to never just snatch one's phone from them without their permission. He looked extremely bored throughout the lecture which made me sigh.
I checked my phone to see a message from Blake:

From: My PrinceSo you chose him, huh?
My eyes almost bulged out of my eyes when I read the text. What the hell! He can't just say that! I haven't even made a decision yet! And probably never will though. I texted him back, with my rapid texting skills, fuming with anger and confusion.

From: MeWhat the hell! Just because I happen
to be with him at the moment does NOT
mean that I have finally made a
decision.I saw looked at the Reece at the corner of my eyes. He saw me looking at him and smirks, clearly finding this either entertaining or amusing. It might be the former though... But still, why the hell is he such a smirking jerk?!
I ignored him and focused on Blake and I's conversation. He hasn't replied back yet though, was he mad? Or did he get embarrassed to the fact that I had just proven him wrong? Who knows, really.
I sighed and placed my phone in my back pocket. I opened my mouth to tell Reece that he's such a jerk for answering my phone but he spoke first than me. He said the two words I never thought he would say, I guess I was wrong.
"I'm sorry." He blurted out.
I stared at him in surprise, still not being able to process the fact that he just said those words. He lightly chuckled- probably amused at my reaction (seriously, he gets amused at basically, everything I do)- and raised an eyebrow.
