Chapter 1

This is my third book. I'm not an English person so there will be grammatical errors and even though in the first chapter she is talking about her father that has passed on the book is not depressing so don't let the first chapter throw you off... I hope you guys like this book...

Chloe's POV

I'm in my 2 bedroom apartment just laying around looking at a picture of my dad. It's been 10 years since his death and I still miss him so much.

There's a knock on my apartment door. I open it to see my best friend Phoebe at the door. She's been my best friend since I was 5. She is a brunette and she's in a pink shorts and a white blouse. She lives with me but apparently she left her keys at her boyfriend's house.

"Ready?" She ask and I nod. I have no idea where we are going . She just called me and told me to get ready. "Let's go blondy."

Yes I'm blonde, middle height and wearing a floral dress. I love floral dresses. I wear them all the time.

I grab my bag and we left.

"You have a little bit of ice-cream on your face." She wipe it off.

We went to do our hair, bought some clothes now we're in the park eating ice-cream.

"Guess what, I set you up on a blind date." I stop and look at her.

"You did what?!!"

"Oh come on. He's Asher's friend, he's rich..." Asher is her boyfriend. They've been dating for 2 months.

I cut her off. "Rich... I think I'll pass." The last rich guy I dated he was judgy and he cheated on me with a model.

"But... please, for me." My bracelet beep.

I pull Phoebe to somewhere, were no one could see us and click on the bracelet. It's kind a like a phone but way better.

I'm a spy. Most of my gadgets are way cooler than regular technology.

I tap on it and a hologram of Mr Jones, the head of DNTU, came up. He's in a black suit, has black hair and he's tall in person.

DNTU is a spy association that I've been apart of since forever. Honestly, I don't know what DNTU stands for. I keep asking but no one would tell me. Normally I wouldn't trust anyone or anything but my dad use to work there and he trusted them so I also trust them.

"Agent Lockhart, you and Ms Edwards are needed at DNTU right not." Mr. Jones said.

"On our way." Phoebe said. I tap on it to turn it off. "Ready?"

"Yea." We walk towards my car.

"I wonder what kind of crazy mission we are going to be on."

"Maybe this is it, the mission that they've been training us hard for." A years ago Mr Jones said that we'll do a mission someday where we save the world and I just can't wait. I love saving people.

"I'm actually excited."

"Me too." We climb into my car. It's not one of those fancy cars but I had to get a job to save and buy this car.

I drove to a supermarket not too far away from where we we're. The supermarket is DNTU hideout.

We walk pass the cashier who is also a spy and walk to the back of the supermarket where there was a room. We walk in and place our hand on the wall where an elevator was.

After this was confirmed, I type in the pin and the elevator open. We walk into the elevator and it close.

"Your name?" The 'elevator' ask.
