Chloe's POV

"I'm going to meet your mother." Dad said and my eyes widen.

"What?! No you're not."

"This is why I didn't wanted to tell you. I know you'll trying and stop me and I can't afford that to happen."

"Daddy I won't loose you again. You're not going anywhere."

"Did you call her? She mentioned something about someone talking to her off your phone."

"Was it you?" I asked dad and he shook his head.

"It was me." Caleb said.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't wanted you to be worried okay."

"You should have told me."

"I was trying to protect you."

"I don't need protection." I was about to walk to the kitchen when I realized that dad was gone.

He's so stubborn.

I called him while I drank my milkshake in the kitchen.

"I've already left okay. You can't stop me." Dad said.

"If I don't get a call from you when you reach and at every 10 minutes interval from that time, I'll come for you myself. And don't try to lock me in the house, I know my way out."

"Okay sweetie. I love you."

"Love you too. And I'm timing you for when you reach there. It's almost a 3 hour drive. Promise you'll call."

"I promise."

"Bye." I hang up.

Caleb walk into the kitchen a few minutes after. "The appointment is at 12." I nod. "I'm sorry."

"Yeap."

"Chloe I hate when you don't talk to me."

"What should I say?"

"I don't know, anything."

"Thanks for trying to protect me but I can protect myself. I'm tired of you and dad trying to protect me. I don't want you to get hurt in the process." I hug him.

"I'm sorry pretty girl but my number one goal is to protect you and the baby. I can't let anything happen. I'd never forgive myself."

"I know. But I can take care of myself."

"And if I had told you, you would have worried. These 9 months has to be stress free." I smile.

"Okay. But after that lady is captured, I do what I want just as I want."

"Yes baby girl. Let's get ready for the doctor." I nod and walked upstairs into the walk in closet with my clothes and Caleb's.

I was about to take up a green floral dress but I'm going to wear something special for him.

I took up a two piece dress. The top was white and the bottom was red.

I took a shower and put on the dress and some lip gloss.

I'm in such a girly mood right now.

I put on a white heels and I did my eye brows, put on some eye liner and mascara. I don't like the foundation tho. Only wore it once and my face broke out.

"Chloe what's taking you so long?" Caleb ask.

"I'm coming." He knock on the door then entered.
