Chloe's POV

I feel a kiss on my cheek and I open my eyes to see Caleb in his suit. I thought he was upset with me.

"Good morning." He nod then took up his briefcase. "Why didn't you wake me to make your breakfast?"

"Get my breakfast cooked and give it to my secretary in the next hour and drop my lunch off at 12 at my secretary. Don't be late." I sigh. He's still mad.

"Okay. I love you."

"Love you too." He said after a while.

"I'm sorry." Caleb is over exaggerating. Yeah Justin flirt with me and I was wrong to allow him to but I just wanted somebody to talk to and he was the only one that would text me throughout the day. And I only flirt with him once and it was a big deal. All I said was how can a handsome guy like you not have
a girlfriend. And he replied, I'm waiting on a girl like you. And I sent the blushing emoji. And that's it. That's what Caleb is getting angry about. He's so easily jealous. He's worse than me.

"Okay." He replied to my apology then left and I prepared his breakfast then drove and gave his secretary then made his lunch and went back to his work place again.

"Um is it okay if I go to Caleb and give him his lunch?" I asked the secretary.

"I can't do that. Mr. Ross clearly stated that he doesn't want see you."

"Okay. Can I go to Phoebe?"

"She's in a meeting right now."

"Okay thank you." I sigh then went into the town and got something to eat.

"Are you Chloe Lockhart?" I look at the guy who asked me that.

"Who wants to know?"

"It's her. Let's get her." He said to another man and I fought them but in vain. They hit me in the head with a metal pipe looking thing and I fell unconscious.

Caleb's POV

"Mr Ross!" I heard someone call me and I look up to see my secretary.

"What?"

"Your lunch." I took it from her.

"Go."

I'm so upset with Chloe right now. How could she be flirting with someone else? Well I might be over exaggerating because it wasn't that bad but she allowed him to flirt with her for so long.

I miss her but I'm also upset with her.

I'll just call her just to hear her voice.

I call her but there was no answer. Maybe it's a sign. I shouldn't call her. I'll wait until I get home.

"Is Chloe here?" I ask the guard at the door.

"No sir."

"How long has she been gone?"

"Since she left to give you your lunch she hasn't come back."

What the fuck? It's almost 11 in the night. Where the hell is she?

I called her again and someone answered the phone.

"I have her and she'll stay here for a while until you do what I say you're to do." A lady said.

"Who's this?"

"Don't you recognize your mother-in-law voice."

"If you ever hurt her I'll kill you."
