Chapter 24

Chloe's POV

"Good morning!" Caleb said as he came into the kitchen and kiss me on my cheek. It's Monday and he literally never spoke to me all of yesterday.

I gave him his breakfast then walk out of the kitchen and up to the bed room.  I made the bed and tidy up in there.

"I'm leaving for work now." I gave him his briefcase. "Bye." Normally I would just kiss him when he says bye but I just walk away. "Chloe I don't have time for this foolishness. I'm going to be late."

"Bye." My phone started ringing and I answered it. "Hello."

"Hey Chloe."

"Oh hi Justin." Justin is my friend from way back. He texted me recently and I replied yesterday and we texted all day since Caleb wasn't speaking to me. I just didn't have anyone to talk to and we had a lot of catching up to do.

"Who's Justin?" Caleb ask.

"What's up? Who was that?" Justin ask.

"doesn't matter."

"I was going to grab something to eat this afternoon around 12. Do you want to come?"

"I can't come exactly 12 because I have to drop off food at my boss workplace at that time."

"How about after?"

"I'll let you know because I might have to come back and cook."

"Okay that's fine."

"I'll have to call you back. I'm kinda busy right now."

"Okay hun. Later."

"Hun?" I laugh and he laughed as well.

"Good bye."

"Bye." I hung up.

"Who the fuck was that?"

"Caleb you're going to be late for work."

"Okay so now you talk to me?"

"Why are you talking to me? You haven't spoken to me since the last time we made love. Did I do something wrong?"

"No you didn't." He hugged me. "I'm just busy with work."

"Then go back to it and leave me alone. I have work to do, sir." His phone started ringing and I roll my eyes.

He answer it. "Yeah I'm leaving now. I'm on my way." He kiss me on my cheek. "I love you sweetie." He said then continue talking on the phone.

"Caleb."

"I'll call you  back." He hung up. "Yes pretty girl?"

"Have a good day at work. I love you." I kiss him on his lips and then I walked away and he left.

I placed his lunch on his desk.

"Bye." I said to him even though he's on the phone.

He look at me then hung up.

"Did you eat?" I didn't answer cause I haven't. Well I drank tea since morning but that's all.

"I have to go."

"Where? To meet your boyfriend Justin?"

"What? Caleb he's just a friend and I wasn't going to meet him."

"Okay." I walk towards the door. "Stay with me and eat lunch."

"I thought you didn't have time for me."
