Chapter 3

Chloe's POV

As I arrived an hour late at the restaurant where I'm having a double date, I look into the mirror and check my hair. It's curled and I had to look my best or Phoebe would kill me.

I'm in a blue halter dress and blue heels. I did my make up, I had on a bracelet and I looked simple but cute in this dress.

I quickly walk into the restaurant and someone escort me to my table.

I look at Phoebe who didn't really look excited like I thought she would be.

The guy that was my date stand up and face me and I realize that he's my boss?!!!

I look at Phoebe and she fake a smile.

Caleb look at me from head to toe then smile.

"You look beautiful."

"You don't look so bad yourself." He pull out a seat for me to sit and I sit down and reach for the glass with wine and took small sips.

"Do you know how long we've been here waiting for both of you?" Phoebe ask.

"I was working. How was the interview?"

"She did good. She got the job. I can't believe that my best friend is my PA's lover and my PA and my chef are best friend. Wow!" Caleb said then took a sip of his wine. He lean towards me and whisper in my ears. "By the way, I loved that massage that you gave me." I blush. Why am I blushing? It's not like I have a crush on him. He's cute but he's also my boss and I have to keep things professional. Even though that boner that he had was not. That was awkward but I pretended as if I didn't see it.

"Chloe I think you put on to much blush." I'm not even wearing any.

"Um yea I'll go to the bathroom and wipe it off. Excuse me." I said.

"I'm coming." She got up and follow me. "Our boss is cute."

"I didn't notice." I lied and she laugh.

"You have a crush on him."

"I don't."

"Yes you do that's why you're blushing."

"I'm not blushing."

"Yes you are, that's not make up." I look in the mirror and my cheeks were slightly pink. "It's been one day and you have a crush on him."

"I don't."

"What took you so long to come?"

"I was busy."

"Doing what?" I roll my eyes and she gasp. "I can't believe this. You were with him. That's why both of you are late for the date... But it's after 8. Your interview started at 2."

"It was a long interview."

"You were the one giving him a massage." She gasp again then smirk.

"How did you know about that?"

"When Asher called Caleb he said he was having a massage so it must have been from you."

"Can we go back out there. I'm tired of you interrogating me."

"Chloe just be careful. Remember that he's evil. He's working for the other side so you shouldn't trust him."

"I know." I don't know why but I don't believe that he's evil. He was so nice and charming for the few hours we spent talking. But looks can be deceiving and I've only known him for a couple of hours.

"Chloe!" I snap out of what I was thinking about then look at her.

"Hmm what?"

"Come on." She hold my hand and drag me out of the bathroom. "What were you day dreaming about?"
