Chapter 19

Chloe's POV

I smell something really strong and woke up quickly to see Caleb.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Babe you've been knocked out for an hour." I look around and realized that I was in a white room and on a small bed then I remembered everything that happened at the amusement park.

"So I'm your prisoner now?"

"No sweetie if you want to walk around then you can. I just want to talk to you." I sat up.

"About?"

"Who do you work for?"

"I won't tell you because right now I don't trust you."

"Chloe I only kidnapped you so that you can see the truth."

"What truth?" He sigh.

"Come with me."

"I don't want to go anywhere with you."

"Just come with me. After we finish talking you can leave and go home." He place his hand on my thigh. "Just come with me okay?"

He held out his hand and I took it then we walked to a board room, one that looked like DNTU only bigger and way cooler!!

His father was there sitting around one of the desk.

"Dad here she is." Caleb said.

"Are you guys going to kill me now? Just get it over with because my mom will do the job any time soon."

"Chloe I'm still the same Caleb you know so just be calm, sit and listen." I sat down and listened to what they were saying.

"Who do you work for?" His father asked.

"I won't tell you."

"Chloe we're on the good side. Your dad was the head of PSA." My eyes widen.

"What?! No he was the head of DNTU."

"Oh so you're working for DNTU?" I looked down. "Chloe your dad was once the head of DNTU but all the persons in it were evil. Both me and your dad were apart of that organization. The minute we found out, we left and started our own organization PSA and your mom is the head of DNTU. That's how she found you now."

"Why didn't she find me before that if she was the head of DNTU? Wouldn't she know where exactly to find me?"

"The plan all along was to get your trust so that you could get the micro chip. I guess they realized that you were figuring things out so they had to get more involved." He click on the the white board and a slide show came up and it showed pictures of me and daddy and there were some with daddy and Mr. Ross and there were a few with me and Mr. Ross when I was a little girl and another with me in daddy's arm and Mr. Ross was holding the hand of a little boy, I'm guessing it was Caleb.

I started crying because I don't know what to believe. I'm so confused right now.

"Baby it's the truth. I just found out myself." Caleb said while trying to hush me.

"I didn't want to show you anymore but..." He skip past the video and went on a picture which had my dad on it and a guys arm around his neck as if he was strangling him. Oh my gosh!!!!! That's Mr Jones. And also, mom was there.

"Oh my God that's mom and that guy with his hand around my dad's neck, he's the head of DNTU." My tears started flowing harder. Why is this happening to me? Why would my mom do this? I can't believe that it was because of her that my dad died. But even if I can't trust DNTU, can I trust PSA??
