Chloe POV

I slowly open my eyes. I feel so sick. My head hurts so much!!

"Good morning." Caleb whispered. I was sitting on his lap with my head on his shoulder. I climb off him quickly. This is awkward.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay baby."

"What happened?"

"We fell asleep in the couch as you can see. You probably weren't comfortable so you sat on me. It's fine. It's what you do all the time."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"How long have you been up?"

"Almost 15 minutes."

"Really? You could have wake me up."

"Nah. It's fine. I've never seen you so comfortable like you were this morning."

"the hospital beds were uncomfortable that's why."

"I tried to make it comfortable for you-"

"I know. I realized and I'm so thankful. Here feels so much like home tho. Have I every been here?"

"No but it's structured almost like our real home."

"Oh.....What smells so good? Is daddy cooking?"

"Yea."

"I'll be right back." I walk into the kitchen and saw him cooking.

I sneak up behind him and cover his eyes.

"Um... Demi Lovato." He guessed who it is and I laugh. We used to do this when I was a kid.

"No."

"Oh I know. Hannah Montana."

"Close."

"Hmmm blonde hair. It must be Chloe." I laugh and he sigh. "I can't believe it's just Chloe. I'm tired of seeing you now. I want to see celebrities."

"Really?" I sigh and let him go. I feel so hurt.

"No of course not. I love seeing you. Why are you getting so emotional?" He look at me and then he look at my tummy. "Oh yeah. That's why you're so emotional?" I hug him from side ways.

"Maybe. What time did you get in last night?"

"I came back not too long ago this morning."

"Why were you out so late?"

"Nothing." He smile.

"I know that smile. You met someone."

"Can I start dating again? I promised I'd date when you're ready. Are you?"

"Yea of course you can."

"You sure? I mean, you're pregnant and you're my main priority. I have to take care of you and my grandchild. So if you want, I won't date. At least this way I won't have any distraction and I'll give you all the attention you need during your pregnancy."

"no dad. It's fine. You should date. Besides, Caleb is there for me 24/7."

"He'll be going back to work soon that's why you need me."

"I'll be fine. I don't need a babysitter."

"Okay. So, how are you and Caleb?"

"Okay. We just talked last night."

"You'll soon remember him."

"I'm trying to."

"Don't try too hard. Just relax okay." I nod. "Are you okay?"
