Caleb's POV

"She's pregnant?!" I repeated. My eyes widen. Oh my God. I sit down and ran my fingers through my hair. I can't be having a baby right now. Sigh. What will I do? And Chloe has been pregnant since the last time we made love and look how much she has been through. Our baby could have died. Tears flow down my face. The guilt!! What if something happened to my baby? How would I be able to live with myself?

"Can we see her?" Her father ask.

"She's unconscious right now but you can go in and see her. She should wake up soon." I walk quickly to her room and saw her laying on the bed unconscious. I can't believe I let this happen to her.

I hold her hand and rest my head on the bed and cried. What kind of fiance and father am I? I let both my babies get hurt. I kiss her tummy. "I won't let anything else happen to you. I promise."

"You better not. Her injuries were very bad but luckily we saved both of them. I don't know what happened yet but nothing like this cannot happen to her again or you may not be lucky the next time." The doctor said to me and all I can do is cry. I'm such a cry baby right now but I don't care! They're my life and I have to protect them both. I love them! With all my heart even though I just found out Chloe's pregnant, I already love the baby she has inside.

"Congratulation with the baby." I heard Chloe's father say. I lift up my head.

"Thanks."

"Did you know?"

"No." I kiss her hand and look at her.

"She'll be fine. She's strong." She better be.

I feel her grip my hand and groan then slowly open her eyes.

"Daddy." I heard her whisper and I call the doctor and he came running in. "You're alive?!" She whispered while trying to sit up. She look so weak.

"Baby relax and go back to sleep." I said to her while fixing her pillow and helping her lay down.

"Who are you?" She ask me and my eyes widen. What the heck? She look so lost as if she was speaking to a stranger.

"I'm your..." The doctor stop me.

"What's your name?" The doctor asked.

"Chloe Lockhart."

"Is this your father?"

"Yeah but I don't understand, what is going on? Who's him over there and how is my father alive? I haven't seen him for almost 10 years."

"it's been a little more than 10 years." I said.

"Who are you?"

The doctor pull me to the side to speak to me and Chloe's dad.

"She seems to be having memory lost. Since she thinks you've been dead for almost 10 months and it's been more than 10 months then she might have lost almost a year of her memory. You were telling me a little about what happened but I'm still confused. However, here's what you'll have to do. She needs to be around familiar places and do things she would normally do to help her remember things, even photos. And you can't throw a lot of information at her, she might get confused. She'll have to remember on her own. It's not a must that she'll remember but it doesn't hurt to try. She'll still have to remain in the hospital for a few more days to ensure that everything will be okay with her and the baby."

"Bringing her home is out of the question. Her mom is searching for her. We can't do anything that we normally do."

"I guess pictures will have to do. But don't rush it. These things takes time."
