Chapter 9

Everything will always have a first... do not end it right there...

It has been almost 2 weeks here at Vigilantes and honestly, I am loving it, minus the intense training with coach. I am getting better at manipulating both Solga and Luna. I also made a closer connection with other grimms. But most of all, Ive grown to love Lucsus more and I thing he did the same.

I walk over with Lucsus towards his Uncle's office. He was at the center of the building. Lucsus explained he was always busy but the thing is, he really needs to spend time with both of us. He seems interested in me.

As we stand in front of the door, Lucsus knocked on the door as I look around. Not much people are here. There are more Grimms than humans. From the looks of it, it seems like this is where jobs are registered.

We both went in the room with the Captain on his desk, reading some files.

"Ah. Welcome mah boy" Captain Lapiz spoke and signaled us to sit across him "on to business. Fenuir, I have a mission for you"

"Mission?" My ears perk as Lucsus stared at me with a grin. "What kind?"

"I will let Lucsus explain" The Captain then handed the file he was reading and sat back

"Come on Uncle!" Lucsus sighed then looked at me "we will need to capture the following people" he then showed me a list of pictures. I recognize them. They are the ones I caught with Halmind.

"I thought they were in jail?" I shiver

"You know them?" The captain asked. I nod at his question and explained the whole story. He then stood up and looked at the window. "Then capture them. Be sure they wont do any of these again"

I nod at his words and looked at Lucsus. "These people are charged for kidnapping. However, they are not children nor students. They are older. Much older." He handed me the file and continued "robery, rape, vandalism and more. They trick other people from their lies."

I understand. It seems like the first target was ... oh no. I stood up quickly as I check the clock. It is almost 7.

"Go. You will be accompanied by Diana and Minos" he sat back on the chair. I look over at Lucsus who made a worried look on us "Lucsus, its dangerous. I cant risk you" the captain explained

"I know... I just wish I would be more useful..." my boyfriend sat there with sad eyes. I walk over to him and gave him a hug. He also hugged back, but squeezing me. "Come back okay?"

"Promise" I ran out the door, leaving a smiling boyfriend and captain in the room.

I ran passed the grimms. I need to leave quickly. Halmind... is in trouble...

I encounter both of them walking down the hallway. I shout at the eagle and tiger, which made them turn around.

"Fenuir?"

"We have a mission" their eyes shine "we need to capture some guys"

"Hmm... been a while since some action" Diana commented as she put her wings on her chest. "So? Any specifics?"

"Specifics?" I tilt my head as my left ear plop.

"Specifics. A type of capture, time, client etc." Minos explained. "Lets go to the Build and get them"

I jod at them as I ran to the Build room. It was a room meant for registering the type of missions and the goal conditions. It is mainly like the quest board you see in games. The three of us walk over to one counter, which is handled by a blond haired woman. Her red glasses look at us with question but her face just showed a smile.
