Chapter 6

Leave everything... for the sake of choosing just one...

I continue to walk down an empty hallway. I recognize it from anywhere. It was the hallway I walked before saving Hal. Then, I entered the room where he was kept. It was turned into a vandalism paradise. Also chains and bats with nails are everywhere.

"Hal... I..." i said to myself as I walk toward his chain. It was rusted and clanked with the rythm of steel.

I stood up and look around and on the chair, there the two wolves. If I refer correctly...

I walked up to them with their gaze, never taking off of me

"Solga... Luna..." I commented as their smile became more welcoming than frightning.

"Welcome child of the sun" Solga said with a warm smile. He was a wolf. White, combed fur and green eyes. His tail was bushy and a bit pointed.

"Nice to finally meet you, son of the Moon" Luna bowed then greeted me. She is also a wol but opposie of Solga. Black fur, wild and alert tail. Her eyes are blue like the moon itself.

"What is... going on" I asked them . They signaled me to sit on the chair as they went in front of me.

"I am Solga, and this is Luna. We came to become your grimm."
He commented

"Grimm...? What...?" I asked abruptly, making Luna sigh a bit

"A grimm is a lost soul. It is a partner who aids his or her own human." Then Solga continued "We are known as beasts, in your realm. We give the power of animals to humans. However, we are guardians."

"Guardians?" I ask

"Yes. Guardians" Luna answered "Guardians are holy and demonic beasts. They have power to destroy..." Luna stopped and Solga continued "... and heal the world"

"But... why... me..." I asked as I was only given a look of worry

"Because you are the Son of the moon" Luna started and Solga continued "and the child of the sun"

I look at them confused. I leaned forward and held my hands together as I collect what I have been told. Nothing makes sense... first I healed Lucsus with some magic, then I turned into a wolf and I...

"I... killed..."

I was frozen in time. It was like the world stopped for my sake. I had killed a human being. And... I was in control too. My hands shook at the fear. I then felt two paws place over my shaking hands as I started to calm down.

"One wust sacrifice..." Solga started and Luna continued "For the sake of another"

I nod at their response. But one question still bugs me.

"What... am I..?"

A monster? Or something worse. I look over my hands again as they begin to grow fur. I look at the two wolves as they became lights, one white and one black. They both circled me when I stood up.

"You are a Beastman" both said in unison.

They both went into me and I was turnd into the same wolf. The world around me shattered as I fell into the darkness. I look around as I fall and it seems like I am about to pass out. I continue to fall but as I fall the light became brighter and brighter. It was too bright I let it absorb me...

"Guh!!" I look around me and it seems like a dream. "What the-?"

I was tied to a iron bed with doctors around me but... this is not the hospital. Many techs are missing and the room was practically empty but for a table with some tools. There was a huge mirror and a sliding steel door. I was naked on the bed, constricted.
