It takes one to save... but saving means a loss for the one...
Morning...
It has been an entire week since the accident and it seems like these days have not been better. VLU has recieved numerous accounts of stories such as the infamous disappearing students. However, the Headmaster write these off as just stories that are made up by people who wants attention... but I am not so sure about that.
The pavement I walk down is much more depressing than it looks. Many whispers are coming from here and there. Passing studebts are being rumored by. Why? Is it because of the stories? From the looks of it.
I entered the arched gateway of the campus. It was much less exciting than last time. Many students seems cautious of their surroundings.
"So tense..." I mumble to myself.
"Only if you make it tense" a voice in front of me saidm Ot was Rino. He looks like he saw better days. Hair a bit ragged, coat more or less stained and have a hint of hoarseness in his voice.
"Morning Rino"
"Like I said, it's Mr. Daltio. " he chopped my head with his right hand.
"Whatever you say Rino" my words made him snarl. I really love teasing him. He looks like someone about to pop. Maybe its my childish sense? Whatever it is, It seems like I wont remove it for some time.
"Sigh..." he started "Anyway, I will be your professor in chemistry this time"
"Chenistry huh? I replied "well, that didnt change" he was actually my chemistry, math, biology and computer tutor when I was in high school.
"True but... be prepared for the symbols youve never seen before" he warned
"I'll see what I can do" I started "But first... how was the damage?"
He first thought about it for mabe a few seconds then answered me "not much. The gymnasium will be of better use after a week. Your ceremony will have to be on hold."
I thought as much but there is one question that keeps bugging me. I ended up asking him : "Is the gymnasium the only place thats damaged?"
With my question, he squinted for a second but then a smile flashed on him. "Well, there are other places like the cafeteria, library and court. But from all that, notging to be serious about."
Just as I thought. Seems like the gymnasium is a bit too... suspicious about now.
"Look, just dont get to hooked on it. I know stories are getting about but trust in the headmaster. He ... never lies"
For a moment there, I heard him say 'he almost never lies'. Maybe it's just me?
Why does it look like everyone knows something I dont. I brush that notion aside as I waved Rino goodbye as I head to my first class, Basic Computer Concepts. The halls are less crowded thanthey are usually are and the students are as silent as crickets in the morning. While I walk down the hall, it seems less and less students are around. I double check my schedule and the room numbers and it seems like i am the right place however...
"Ha! Hey look, its the guy who plays with the dogs" I heard from the corner of my ear. I turn to my right and it seems like an empty classroom with the exception of it being well hidden. I walked slowly as I leaned against a wall just beside the door.
"Hng..." I saw a chubby little boy, no more than my age, getting surrounded by what I assumed as seniors. Or worse... bullies.
"So how does playing with the dogs made you feel? Horny?" One guy said as the boy kneels clutching to be somewhat a book
