The enjoyment of others...
Is torture for oneself...

Did I really need to give it to Hal? I dont know it was right. After all, I am suppose to keep this place a secret. But he did see me as human. But what is that nonsense of me being dead? I have so much questions I dont know where to begin

"Heads up, Grimgar!"

I looked up and saw an arrow flying towards me. I flipped over and caught it with my paws. Coach blew his whistle signaling for us to stop our training. He then approached me with a bit of sigh. He does not look amused...

"Fenuir, focus!" He Blurted "remember to catch the arrow not using your paws."

He then pat me on the shoulder, nodded and walked away. I sighed a bit as I look up again. Seems like a lot of beastmen are annoyed... well, Its my fault for losing focus.

"You okay Fenuir?" Justin tapped my shoulder as i turn around

"Yeah... just tired" I answered him. From his eyes, he doesnt believe me. "I just didnt get much sleep. Insomia and all that..."

"Fen... Wolves dont get insomia. Theyre nocturnal and not at the same time" he sighed.

"Oh... haha..."

"Big brother..." Edmund tugged his brother's shirt, making him turn a bit. He knelt in front of the racoon, patting his head.

"Dont worry kiddo. Its almost over" the lion assured, letting the racoon hive a smile to his brother.

"Anyhow Fen" Justin then looked at me "Try not to overthink. Wolves are a bit simple minded but alone, they think wildly"

He then nodded at me before he left. I look over the other grimms, which are being lectured by coach. I sighed again as I joined them

"Relaxed?" Coach asked me. I gave him a nod in which he returns a smile. He then faced all of us before speaking "Now. We will have a stealth  mission. It includes you running through the field and finding three stones. Not just any stone..." Coach reached for his pocket and showed us a magnificent gem. It was shaped like the moon but shines like the sun. But looking at that stone made me lost...

I... saw that before...

I shook my head, not getting lost at thought again. I looked at Coach again before he continued : "there are 100 duplicates in the ruins. Find one of the 10 real stones. But to give a fighting chance for everyone, I will need to group you all in twos." He then put away the stone and crossed his arms "Now. Find your partners"

Everyone nodded as each of them find a partner. I looked around me and... wow. Everyone has a pair. That was fast. I walk around a bit more, hoping to find that one person... or beastman. And there he was, walking like me. The bear shouted as he waved his hands before running to me.

"Hey bro! You seem alone again" John approached me with his grimm not far behind. He gave a small bow while John puffed his chest

"You two... are not like each other" I told the two bears. John looked at me in question while Kuma giggled. From what I see in front of me is a spoiled little rich kid and his butler... umm. What was the name of that anime? I kinda forgot. Anyhow, I just laughed at the thought and got back on track

"So you want to partner up?"  John asked

"Sure! But how can we do so?" I asked him but he gave me a chuckle

"Well summon the two pups and lets see!" He crossed his arms and grinned.

"Why?"

"Well, every grimm has an ability. Kuma's ability is Eternal Defence, which can block ANYTHING!" He pat the back of his tall bear, who sighed but smiled anyway
