We got ice cream together and when we arrived at Yellow's home I noticed she was acting a little nervous. I stopped walking and looked at her.

''Uh, Yellow are you alright?'' I asked her out of concern. She widened her eyes and nodded hesitantly. She stopped her footsteps as well and looked down to the ground.

What was with her the past few days? She's been acting more quiet than usual. I didn't really like that. I just wanted to talk to her like the good old days. I laughed timidly,

''I-if there's something wrong then tell me oka-''

''Red...'' She interrupted me.

She looked up at me with a pink stained face and opened her mouth in attempt to say something to me I assume. Nothing actually came out, it seemed like she kept on choking on her own words. As time went on she gradually started looking further away from me, her cheeks became a darker shade of pink until it was a crimson red and her gibberish became even softer.

''Yellow?'' I called out.

She snapped back to the situation and took a deep breath to calm herself down to the best of her abilities.

''R-Red... I- I love y-'' And the rest was inaudible to me as she started mumbling again.

Those words almost seemed like she was confessing to me...?

I'm not sure what was happening at the moment but I felt my heart rate speed up a little. Subconsciously I started smiling a little at the thought of Yellow confessing to me. But that wasn't the case... Was it?

''R-Red! I l-love yo-'' My phone then received a message.

I flinched and quickly reached for my cell phone to see a message of an unknown number telling me to go home. I raised an eyebrow and then it clicked, it was probably my sister. She got a new phone last week because her old one broke.

''Sorry Yellow but I've gotta go..' I said. Yellow gasped a little and gulped, ''Oh haha... H-have a good d-day!... See you t-tomorrow...'' She said as she turned away from me and slumped to her house. I waved her goodbye even if she couldn't see me and proceeded to jog to my own house. It was getting late anyways so I had to get going from that point even if I didn't get a text.

After about 5 minutes I get to my own neighborhood.

I pulled the fence gate open and closed it behind me. I walked down the path and grabbed my house key to open the door.

''I'm home!'' I called out.

I put my shoes away and looked around the hall. I saw my mom approach me.

''Red, you're home already?'' She asked me with a bright smile.

I nodded, ''Uh... Yes...?''

Wasn't she the one who wanted me back home? Oh well.

I shrugged it off and walked to the stairs, ''If you need anything from me, I'll be upstairs!''. I walked up the stairs and to my room. I dropped my bag near my chair and laid down on my bed. I exhaled and thought back at Yellow's words.

What did she mean?

'R-Red! I l-love yo-' I love Yoo-hoo? The chocolate drink? I've never seen Yellow drink one of those before but maybe she wants me to buy her one of those? It could be the case. Trying something new is always good, so it's nice to know that she's gotten a new favorite drink. I mean... It is kind of peculiar for her to say something so random like that but-...

No.

That's not what she meant.

She must've wanted to tell me that...
