Warnings: nightmares? only a small dream

Summary: The day comes for Alex to hang out with Justin. Will it turn out amazingly, or end in heartbreak?

 Alex's POV

     "You can't wear that!"

I spin around and see Darcy sitting on my bed scrolling through her phone. She looks at me with wide eyes.

     "What?" I ask, confused.

"You can't wear that if you're going on a date!" she exclaims.

I roll my eyes. "I'm not going on a date, Darcy. I'm going to a movie with Justin and they going to his place."

"It is so a date," Darcy argues.

I shake my head and give her a small smile. "I wish it was. Sadly, it isn't. He still had a girlfriend and is still straight."

Darcy sighs. "Well, even if it isn't, the least you could do is try to look good."

I frown, looking down at my red Fall Out Boy shirt, black jeans, and red Converse. "I did try."

     She snorts. "Not that much."

I glare at her. "Fine, then. Help me."

Darcy grins and stands up from my bed. "Gladly."

I watch as she walks over to my closet and scans the clothing. After a minute, she groans.

"Do you only own black, grey, red, or white clothing? You only have band shirts in here! My God, Alex. Are all of these skinny jeans?"

I roll my eyes once again and flop down on my bed. I just start to doze off when Darcy yells.

     "Aha! Got it!"

I lift my head up from the pillow I was lying on and look at the outfit Darcy's holding up. Plain white shirt, black, ripped skinny jeans, and white Converse high tops.

I raise an eyebrow. "That's actually not that bad."

Darcy rolls her eyes but smiles. "Well, I'd like to think I'm okay at fashion."

"I don't know, man, you seem pretty good at it."

Her smile widens. "Thanks. Now get dressed! You don't want to be late!"

I grab the clothes from her and salute her as I'm walking into the bathroom. She just sticks her tongue out at me. I laugh and close the bathroom door behind me. I quickly strip, then slip on the clothes Darcy picked out. I turn sideways and look into the mirror. I don't look half bad. Smiling, I quickly comb my hair and gel it into its normal style. I walk out of the bathroom. Darcy looks up from her phone and whistles.

     "Dang," she says.

     I smile. "Thanks."

     "Ready?" she asks.

I check the time. I'm supposed to be at Justin's house in 20 minutes. "Yup."

Darcy claps me on the shoulder. "Good luck."

I nod. "Do you need a ride home?"

She shakes head. "I think I'll just stay here until you get back. I want to know all the details."

I smile. "Okay, sounds good. Just lock up if you decide to leave."

Darcy nods and I wave goodbye as I take my phone off the charger, slip it into my pocket, and grab my car keys. I head out the front door. I unlock my car door and get in. I quickly connect my phone to the overhead Bluetooth and shuffle my playlist. I start the engine and back out of the driveway. Contagious Chemistry by You Me At Six plays. I smile and sing alone. Before I know it, I reach the address Justin told me to come to. I park and turn off my car. Sitting in my seat for a moment, I breathe in deeply. Chill. It's not even a real date. We're just seeing a movie. That's all. I sigh and open my car door. I walk up to the door and knock. I hear a dog bark once, and then footsteps. The door opens. And something attacks me.
