Haven't been on here in a long time. I hope people are still reading my stories and enjoy them.
I know I haven't been very active the past few years, only popping on to message people or reply to comments y'all leave. But the years I spent on here sharing my stories changed my life. You all gave me a space to share what I needed to without making me feel bad. Even though you came for gay stories, so many of you stayed and read my lame updates that took up a whole chapter. I told you about my car accident, my traumatic brain injury, my mental health struggles because of the TBI, and everything else awful that happened. You commented so many kind, lovely things even though you didn't even know me. And it helped me through some of the worst years of my life. Some of you even messaged me! It truly meant everything to me. You all gave me hope when I was drowning.
Short update from the past few years: Graduated high school, moved out of my abusive parents' house, got a place with my partner, did some intense fucking therapy (which I still do twice weekly), went no-contact with my parents and grandmother after they reacted Horribly to me coming out as trans, and now I'm having some issues.
Without going into too much detail, things just keep not working out. I've been experiencing intense mental health and physical health issues since January and because of them, have been having a horrible time trying to find a job that I can physically do. I'm applying every day but it's been about 6 months of this struggle and I don't have much I can do except wait for things to change.
This is unbelievably hard for me to do, but I've reached a point where I've accepted that I do need help and support from my community. I know times are tough for a lot of people right now so seriously don't feel bad if you can't give, just know that literally any amount helps so so much and I'm eternally grateful for any support you Can give, even if it's just kind words <3
