Prom

Broolynne gazed into the mirror. She checked her hair, makeup, and dress once again. She had to look perfect. This was her senior prom.

Peter agreed to go to hers because that's where his best friend and all his other friends were. And of course Brooklynne herself.

She gazed lovingly at the beautiful dress she was wearing. It had cost a lot but it was worth it. It was a two piece dress. The top was mostly lace and red. The bottom was just a skirt that was lace. She felt awfully pretty and luckily the dress didn't show too much stomach.

She twirled around again as her father entered the room. He felt proud as he watched his beautiful daughter smile at herself in the mirror.

"How do I look dad?"

"Like a princess honey."

"Do you think Peter will like it?"

"He will love it."

Brook smiled at that and kissed her fathers cheek as the doorbell rang. Brooklynnes father ran down the stairs and opened it to Peter looking incredibly nervous in a tuxedo.

"Hurt my daughter. I hurt you. Be careful tonight."

"We will Mr. Anderson. Is Brook ready?"

Brook entered the room with the grace of a princess. Just kidding, we all know Brook is quite clumsy. Instead she tried to enter room looking like a princess. In reality she tripped and fell into Peters arms.

"Well hello beautiful."

A blush crept up Brooklynne's cheeks as she got up and straightened herself out.

"Hi."

"Are you ready to to?"

"Yes. Bye dad."

"Bye Mr. Anderson."

"Bye kids! Have fun!"

Brook was led by Peter to a limo. She climbed in and was greeted warmly by Corey who was in a tux, Courtney who was in a navy blue dress, Will who was also in a tux, and Alexah who was in a gold and white dress.

And off they went to the prom. The prom was magical. They danced, ate, and sang to their hearts content. Beautiful photos were gained. And as the last slow song played that night Peter pulled Brooklynne in for a kiss.

It was perfect.
