Kaitlin didn't know what was going on upstairs as she heard banging throughout the night. How badly she wanted to go upstairs and check it out.
Slowly she crept up the stairs once more, but only to have a light wind push her right back down them. The girl landed with a soft breeze and looked at the stairs in disgust. "Why can't I just go upstairs!? Huh? What's so bad about that!?" Kaitlin yelled at the stairs. Of course, she didn't get a response.
For a while she sat there, staring at the stairs and into space. Suddenly, the door flew open with a kick of the mans foot.
It was the curly brow-haired guy. He came down the stairs, his left foot then his right foot, and he stared at her. Well, probably the wall, but like it was at he was gazing at her.
He looked around the basement then smiled. He then said to himself, "This could be the gaming room! Perfect sizing, enough space, plenty of outlets over there! Yup, deal."
He ran upstairs then yelled, "Hey, guys! Move the gaming gear down here. I want it over here...Yeah!" More men with boxes came down and set them around the room.
What the heck! I live in this room! Thought Kaitlin to herself. Not you!.....This is so exciting!! I finally can see someone! Be close enough to them!"Yeah, that's good. Anymore boxes go in here. I can set it up myself. And please bring my desk down here too. If possible. Thanks," Green Shirt said to the crew. They just nodded and trudged up the stairs.
He stood there for a while thinking. Kaitlin shifted on her legs, not wanting him to see her watching him. Well, it's not like he could see her anyways. Actually see her.
The spirit finally got over her self-consciousness and walked towards the boxes, examining them. Then Green Shirt said, "It's kind of cold in here. I should get a heater brought down."
Strange...he talks to himself...not weird or anything. "Hey! Toby! Jack is looking for ya! He said he came here to help?" One of the men upstairs called down here. "Thanks! Be right on up!" He replied.
Cool, his name is Toby. Not bad. Kind of suits him. He finally turned around and ran up the stairs.
Kaitlin took advantage of the moment and rummaged through the boxes.
'Woah! Nice camera! He must do a lot of gaming.'
She set down the camera and looked through the boxes once more. Suddenly, she heard a gasp and completely stopped.
Kaitlin shut herself down, meaning that she turned herself invisible. Like if a person can see her, which is not possible, but if they are very lucky or have an extremely imaginative mind, they may see ghosts.
There stood Toby with a shocked, yet confused expression on his face. He set down the table he was holding and stared at the spot Kaitlin once stood.
"What's up Tobes? You look like you've seen a ghost," the man, who probably was Jack, said as he came down with a chair.
"Yeah, yeah. Let's go with that. Just set it over there and go back upstairs to get the rest of the stuff," Toby said jogging upstairs. "Uh, okay."
'I hope I didn't scare him off. I think I might like this guy. I barely know him, but there is something about him that seems to glow. I don't know yet, but I absolutely hope he doesn't leave.'
