It's been two days since Toby and Katie have contacted each other.
Kaitlin has been just in the corner of the basement, kind of sulking for a good while. What else was there to do for her? The only person she truly cared about just left her there...and now there is nothing, just like there has always been.
Toby hasn't even come down to record since. She doesn't know his exact plan with his stuff, but she was pretty sure it required recording in order to keep a channel going.
A soft sigh emitted from her lips as she looked at the mundane wall ahead of her. She couldn't really explain why she was so upset at April....
Okay, yes she could, but really, who wouldn't act like the way she did? It was obviously jealousy that coursed through her as she saw how close Toby and April were. In another reality, Katie wanted that to be her and Toby that close. To have intimate moments like that...etc...
Sitting here wasn't going to fix anything for her. That was for sure, but what else was she really going to do? It's not like she could walk upstairs and say she was sorry or anything. Katie was trapped downstairs in the basement and that was that.

Toby curled up even more in his comforter when he felt himself get uncomfortable for the fifth time that night. His mind was jumbled with thoughts. He felt like a rubix cube in need of fixing. The more and more he tried to piece himself together, the more and more his colors kept misplacing themselves.
Toby threw the comforter off of him and laid on his back, staring at the ceiling. The entire room was pitch black and it felt like the dark wanted to engulf him in his own thoughts. They wanted to keep him right where he was. The past few days he wasn't even able to record any videos. Toby just didn't want to confront her...
After he said those words, he didn't even care...All that flowed through him at the time was anger and hate, but later on, later that night, the emotions came to him and hit him hard. With all of the feelings at once, it felt like a freight train just collapsed on him.
With a heavy sigh, he closed his eyes. Not even that helped his situation. His eyes basically felt like sand. Thousands upon thousands of grains of sand.
Toby refocused on his thoughts and turned them into ways he could try and face Katie. He didn't really mean to hurt her. None at all, because in all reality, he really cared for her. More than most. He didn't just want to "confront" her. That was a bad way of putting it. He...Toby wanted to comfort her. After the words he said, there was nothing more than what he wanted to do for her.
The look on her face after he screamed those poisoning words, he knew..he knew, that those words were going to stab her sharply. He shouldn't even have said anything. My God...wasn't he just one goddamn idiot.
