Vanya's (Or Mays) POV
I woke up the next day and rubbed my eyes. Today Im heading home with Legolas and a friend of his to get my necklace. I pulled my covers off and got up walking to my closet pulling out an outfit. I went to the bathroom and took bath. When i finished i got up and put my outfit on and then pulled my hair into a pony tail after i combed it. I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed how much me and Legolas look alike....besides are hair but....he might be right...I walked back into the room and laced my boots up and then i heard a knock on the door. I opened it to see Legolas and a red haired female elf bye his side. "May meet my friend, Tauriel" Legolas said to me.
"Hello" She said to me.
"Hi." I said back.
"Alright so May...i got you this...Legolas moved his hands from behind his back and handed me a Elvin bow and some arrows. I smiled and took them "Thank you so much!" I said hugging him. He hugged me back laughing. "Well what are we waiting for? lets get going" Tauriel said to us. I put the new quiver around my back and held the bow in my hand. We walked through the halls all the way to the gates. When the gates open we walked out into the forest. "Does Thranduil know we are leaving?" I asked looking at Legolas. "No and he cant no..." Legolas said to me. I nodded as we walked in the Forest and then walked past my father, Lucus's grave. Before we went further i picked a flower and placed it on his grave then ran back up to legolas and Tauriel. Legolas took my hand for some reason as we walked. We got to the lake where there was a small boat there. We climbed inside as Legolas went to steer. I sat there looking out at the water in amazement. I have to admit i miss my mom but i wonder how shes gonna react to this..."May.." Legolas said to me. I looked up at him. "Yeah?"
"I think you should get some sleep...long trip.." I nodded "Alright." I layed down on the cold wooden floor and drifted to sleep
