Chapter 2

Vanya's POV (Or May's)

"May...wake up were here.."

I heard my fathers voice. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Where are we exactly dad?" 

"Mirkwood" He replied grabbing his weapon.

"Oh they gave us permission to hunt here?" 

He smiled and laughed a little. "Yes they have now come we have hunting to do." I nodded and stood up and grabbed my bow and put strapped my qwiver on me holding my arrows inside. We got off the boat and walked in the forest. I dont know why but this place...seemed...familiar...I just can't put my finger on it. As we were talking my dad looked over at me. "May have i ever told you the story of The lost princess of Mirkwood?" 

"No, you havent..."

"Well...there was an elf princess named Vanya...and one day her brother Legolas took her hunting with him..goblins then attacked and took little Vanya...She has been gone for 9 years...Most people have given up hope that she was still alive..But King Thranduil and Prince Legolas never lost hope..."

"Dad...arnt I an elf...? and..you found me by a goblin?"

"Yes but....I dont think that your her so dont worry.."

I nodded and we kept walking. We hunted and got a few animals. Every time we got 2 we brought it back to the boat. My dad turned to me "Alright i will take the rest back to the boat you stay here and hunt some more okay?" 

"Alright dad." I said smiling. While he took the animals back the boat. I saw a rabbit and held up my bow and pulled the arrow back towards my face when i heard someone behind me. I quickly turned and saw an elf one that looked a little like me but much taller. "Who are you?" He said looking at me.

"Im may im hunting here with my father from the town of Esgaroth."

"Ah..Well Im Legolas." He said to me smiling.

"Nice to meet you...your the prince correct?"

"Yes i am" he said then he looked around. "wheres your father?" 

"He went back to the boat to drop of the animals we hunted"

"Ah....hey...May....you said your from Esgaroth and that town is all Humans...but..your an elf..."

"Oh he found me as a child....I'm 14 right now.." i said looking at him. He nodded and looked like he was thinking of something when we heard a scream. My eyes widened because I know that voice that screamed...it was my dads... I ran towards the scream as fast as i could and i could here Legolas following behind. When i ran over i saw my dad....on the ground with blood coming out of his chest, nearing death and goblins on me and my fathers ship sailing away. "DAD! I screamed running to him. He looked at me tears in his eyes. "I...i love you may..." He said weekly smiling a little. "I love you to dad..." I watched as his hand fell to the ground while he looked pale..felt cold...and was lifeless..I put my head in my hands crying...crying over the loss of my father...Legolas walked towards me and knelt beside me and hugged me to comfort me. "Was that your boat the goblins took...?" I nodded looking up at him when he realized me. "Come with me" he said. "But...my dad.." i said looking down at his lifeless body.."Im sorry...but...there's nothing we can do...if you want me and you can Bury him..." I nodded still upset and stood up with Legolas. He picked up my dads body and walked in the woods with me and layed him down in front of a tree. We put rocks we found on top of him burying him and i carved on the tree with my dads dagger. R.I.P Lucas Williams. I decided to keep the dagger because it reminds me of my father. I slid the leather cover over the dagger and then put it in my qwiver so i dont lose it. Legolas looked at me. "Im sorry for your loss..."

"Thanks..."i said looking down.

"Hey...because they stole your boat...you can stay with me in the kingdom..."

I Looked up him and smiled a little. "Okay.." He smiled and started to walk and i followed him. "You know...you look like my lost sister Vanya?..."

"I do?"

"Yeah....how long ago were you found?..."

"9 years ago...my dad killed a goblin who had me...."

Legolas stopped and looked at me again. But then turned and kept walking. We arrived to the entrance and they let us in. "Alright stay silent so i can persuade my father to let you stay alright?"

"Alright" i said looking at him smiling a little. He smiled back and we walked into the throne room. Thranduil looked at me. "Legolas...who is this...?"

"This is May from Esgaroth he father was killed by goblins today and they stole her boat leaving her here and I was wondering if she could stay?.."

Thranduil shook his head and look at Legolas. "No humans are aloud to stay here legolas...you no that.."

Legolas smiled a little. "ah but shes not human.."He said and then he pulled back my hair showing him my elf ears. Thranduil looked surprised. "Your From Esgaroth and your an elf?"

"She was found by a man 9 years ago who took care of her...the man saved her from goblins.." Thranduil thought for a moment and nodded. "she may stay..but under your watch Legolas.." he said looking at his son. Legolas smiled "Thank you father..May...come with me i will show you to your room." I nodded and walked with him down the halls to a room. "Your rooms next to mine if you need anything ask me okay?" Legolas said to me smiling. "alright thank you" I said smiling and walked into my room while he walked down the halls to do what he needs to do. When i got into the room i placed my bow and qwiver down on the ground and slipped of my boots then layed down in the bed drifting to sleep.

Yeah made myself angry for killing Of her dad just because who plays him is Tom hiddleston...but i had to make something happen....well more soon to come!
