so this is going to follow about the gist of the flash, with significant differences.
one, harrison wells DOES NOT create the particle accelerator.
the particle accelerator was made by malcolm merlyn, if you don't know who that is, watch arrow and you'll know.
the particle accelerator was no where near star labs. instead, star labs is an abandoned warehouse split in two.
the girls have one side of the warehouse and the boys have another, but they aren't aware of the other.
malcolm merlyn creates the particle accelerator to fix starling city, however whilst on a mission, a certain team of vigilantes accidentally change course of the particle accelerator, knowing it was going to explode.
the 'certain team's' initial intention was to disfigure the structure altogether. (stop the particle accelerator before it exploded.)
however, they accidentally detonated it in central city rather than starling.
these characters all go to central star city high school. (it is a joint high school of the two cities.)

*dig does not attend that high school, he's in college
*thea is much younger than oliver in the original series, so she's not in high school yet.
ray and jesse don't get a major part in this story bc this is based off of season one of flash (season 2/3 of arrow)
