Chapter 10: Dragon Masters

After I started to feel better, Ellie and I went downstairs and talked with everyone after I answered all of Bugsy's questions. "Are you all heading to Goldenrod City?" Bugsy asked. "Not yet. Hau still needs to challenge you." I said. Bugsy looked at Hau and Litten. "Where is that Pokémon from, Hau?" "Litten and I are from Alola. We don't have any Gyms in Alola, so we came here. Alola is actually constructing a Pokémon League now." Hau said. "Alola? I haven't heard of that region." Bugsy said. "It's actually very small. Only four islands that are about as large as the area between Violet City, Azalea Town and Goldenrod City." Hau explained. After Hau and Bugsy finished discussing Alola, they went to the Gym so Hau could try to get his badge.

When they left, Leaf and Ellie had some serious looks on their faces as they looked at me. "So, what is it that we think happened to Ho-oh and is it the same as what happened to Lugia?" Leaf asked. "After looking at Ho-oh's memories while I healed it, it's the same." I said. "Do you know who is behind it?" Ellie asked slightly worried. I looked at Leaf. "Two possibilities. Team Rocket or Flare. Most likely, Team Rocket because I can't see any reason for Lysandre to mess with either of them." I said. "If it is Team Rocket, we have an easier task of stopping it from happening." Leaf said. "True, but I still don't understand how. Lugia is a Psychic/Flying type. Ho-oh isn't Psychic type at all. Ho-oh is Fire/Flying. That radio signal, if it is effecting them how I think it is, it shouldn't effect Ho-oh." I said. "Could it be effecting them due to their flying type?" Ellie asked.

There was an emergency call to the Pokémon Center. "Nurse Joy?" Officer Jenny asked. "Nurse Joy isn't here. This is the Legendary Trainer. What's going on?" I asked. "There is a red Gyarados rampaging in the Lake of Rage!" Officer Jenny exclaimed. "How fast can you get here?" A gush of wind hit Leaf and Ellie. "He'll be there in a couple of seconds." Leaf said slightly annoyed. Ellie realized there was someone behind them. I had put on the armor and ran as fast as Raikou to the Lake of Rage. I found Officer Jenny talking with an old friend. "Lance, its nice to see you again." I said. Lance smiled. "Legendary Trainer, glad to see you here. Claire and I could use some help." A woman, not much older than I, with blue hair stepped into view. "It's an honor." Claire said as she bowed. I look toward the Gyarados. "I'll go and calm it." I said before taking off.

I got on the head of the Gyarados and started to make a telepathic connection. I realized it was the radio signal that hit Lugia and Ho-oh. I used my controller vision to calm the Gyarados. He calmed instantly and asked to join me. I used a Pokeball and went back to Lance and Claire. "There's a radio signal that has effected two Flying types other than the red Gyarados. I believe Team Rocket might be behind it." I said. "I'll do some research. Claire, you need to keep in touch with the Legendary Trainer." Lance said. I let Claire obtain the number to contact the armor directly. Lance left to investigate and I left to get back to the girls. I found them riding Raikou on the way towards me. "What are you thinking, leaving without telling us?" Leaf asks as she slaps me on the arm. "We were worried about you. I don't know why you always do this!!! You can't say that you are worried that we will get hurt anymore, we have armor! So what is the deal?!" She is seriously ticked off at me. "I heard that there was a Pokémon that was going to harm others. My instincts kicked in and I just ran. I left Raikou there so you guys could come help." I said being honest and trying not to get punched. "That doesn't mean you had to run off instead of talking with us to organize what we'll do. Do you think you're the only one who can help them? If so, why do you need us?" "I didn't ask you to join us to begin with. I had to be convinced in order to let you in." I said angrily. Leaf sucker punched me in the jaw after that statement. Raikou roars loudly and we see Ellie crying profusely while still on its back. "Stop fighting already! You two always act like this and I hate to see two friends fight!" Ellie screams.
