When I got back, Hau was outside waiting for me. "Dude, you need to get in there. Leaf has been crying her eyes out ever since what happened and Ellie has been sad since you left." Hau said. "I know. I'm sorry that I just took off. I needed time to think and to figure out what to do from here." I said. Hau put his arm around my shoulders as if to say that everything was ok. We went inside and I hugged Ellie and apologized. We all went up to Leaf's room. She looked at me and sniffled. She looked like she had been crying as long as Hau said. "Glad to see you're ok." Leaf said. Her voice was shaky from how much she had been crying. "I needed time to think about what to do and understand a number of things." I said trying to apologize. "I guess its time I gave you all an explanation." Leaf said looking at her lap with a sad smile on her face. Cyndaquil looked up at her as if trying to cheer her up. "Lysandre, or should I say Luther, is my brother. After a trip he took when I was five to the Kalos Region, something changed about him and he started to use the company he developed in order to form Team Flare and set out on his mission. He would never tell me anything, but when he captured me, he knew that if he contacted you, he would get something out of it." Leaf explained. "When was the last time you saw him before he captured you?" I asked. Leaf had a look of remembering pain. "He came back to say his goodbyes when on my sixth birthday, but didn't tell me why. When he captured me, I tried asking him what he was doing and why he was doing this to his own sister."

"He said he does not believe in family ties anymore because they will only hold him back from his mission. He still calls me his sister to taunt me, but I'm nothing but a pawn to him now." Leaf burst into tears. I sat on the bed and comforted her. "I've changed our destination after we finish here. We're going to-" Leaf punched me in the gut. "You aren't changing where we go because of him! We're going to Alola next to learn more about your powers. My brother can wait. I want to grow stronger to beat him so badly, he'll beg for mercy from me!" Leaf was so angry and had a fire like I had never seen in her eyes. When I finally got the wind back in me, I stood up and said, "Alright then. If you want to get stronger, then suck it up and get out of this bed and start training!" I said without mercy in my voice. Leaf's eyes grew wide and the fire turned from red to blue. "When do we start?" Leaf asked excitedly. "We leave for Azalea Town in fifteen minutes. Get up, get your things, and get out so we can get on our way." I said. Leaf didn't hesitate. She ran out of bed to gather her things. Hau had his jaw dropped all the way to the floor. "We've been trying to get her out of bed for a while now. How did you do that?" Hau asked in astonishment. "You have to know how to light a fire under her. Leaf is one of those that need motivation to do the smallest of things. Her motivation before was trying to beat me. Now, her motivation is getting stronger to defeat her brother." I said.

We headed back to Azalea Town and were greeted by Bugsy. "Thanks for helping get all the Slowpoke to come back to town. Everyone has been worried about them." Bugsy said. I pulled Bugsy aside. "Bugsy, do you know why Team Rocket was down there?" I asked. "Something about selling Slowpoke tails on the black market. They can go for up to a million dollars a tail." Bugsy said. "That's why its good that you guys took care of them. I heard that the Legendary Trainer actually showed up to face the admin that was down there." Bugsy had a very hopeful look on his face. "Bugsy, you're a lot like some of the other trainers in how you'd like to meet the Legendary Trainer, don't you?" I asked. Bugsy nodded his head furiously. "I think that would be awesome!" Bugsy said. Hau started to open his mouth, but Leaf nailed him in the stomach to stop him. "So, are you guys going to challenge the gym?" Bugsy asked. Leaf and I nodded. "Leaf, you want to go first? Cyndaquil should have the advantage here." I said. "It would be good bonding time for the two of us." Leaf said looking at him with a smile.

Hau, Ellie and I waited for Leaf to return. It didn't take long for her to come back. "Leaf, who is that Pokémon beside you?" Hau asked. Beside Leaf was a newly evolved Quilava with spots where fire released from along its backside and the middle of its head. "Cyndaquil evolved into Quilava due to the fact that they bonded so much during the Gym Battle." I said. Leaf had that same look of accomplishment as she did after beating Falkner, but it was different this time. She had a purpose for getting stronger this time. Suddenly, a boy with red hair and a purple shirt came in. "Bugsy, come quick!" Silver said without even realizing Leaf and I were there. When he finally noticed, he told us to come as well cause it was something that I would want to see. When we ran outside of the Gym, there was a rainbow that ended or began in front of the Gym where there was a Pokémon that was hurt. Nurse Joy and Blissey were already on the scene trying to treat it when a symbol appeared in a ghostly fashion while I was looking at the Pokémon. "Ho-oh!" I said. "You know about this Pokémon, William?" Bugsy asked.

"Legendary...Trainer?" Ho-oh asked while very weak. "I'm here Ho-oh. What happened to you?" I asked as I crouched down near the rainbow phoenix's head. "I was flying around the region and was attacked by a new radio wave that made me unable to navigate, but I was still in the air. I was shot down by a rocket that was launched at me." My eyes lit up furiously. The girls had no idea what was said to me, but knew that I was furious and tried to hold me back. "Let me go!" I said angrily towards them. "Ho-oh needs your help now. We can deal with whatever has you angry later as a team." Ellie said trying to redirect my focus. "You can bet we will do everything we can to bring those responsible to justice after the fact. I'll be the first one to throw a punch!" Leaf said. Still angry, but knowing they were right, I turned around and used my powers to give Ho-oh my strength so that it was healed. Doing this drained almost seventy five percent of my energy from my body. I knelt to the ground when all of it was done. The girls picked me up by the shoulders and held me up as Ho-oh began to fly again. "Thank you Legendary Trainer. I owe you a great debt." Ho-oh said. Now that it was healed, Ho-oh sounded like a caring mother. I watched as it flew away safely.

"What was that? How was William able to do that?" Bugsy asked like an impatient kid. I was so weak, I couldn't answer him. "I'm guessing you didn't know, Bugsy. William here is the Legendary Trainer everyone has been talking about and the one who taught me what it really means to be a strong trainer." Silver said. I blacked out soon after. When I woke up, Rowlet was sitting on my chest waiting for me to wake up. Croconaw was waiting beside the bed as if he was waiting to chomp my arm when given permission. "Croconaw, I'm not your dinner. You can stop looking at me like that." I said still very weak. "At least you're well enough to crack jokes, boss." Croconaw said as he left. "I'm going to go tell everyone you're awake." I laid my head back down after he left. "Thank you for not being anything like him." I said to Rowlet. "I know how tired you must be." A voice said. I looked around and didn't see anyone nearby. The voice was like that of a toddler. "Rowlet, did you just speak?" I asked confused. "Yes." Rowlet said. "I was not expecting that voice to be yours little one. You're still just a baby." I said.

"Someone is feeling better." Ellie said as she sat beside me. "Yeah, but I still feel like I got stampeded by a horde of Tauros." I said. "Lugia said you used a lot of energy to heal Ho-oh. The way you feel is probably cause of how rapidly you lost that energy." Ellie said as if she had been reading Prof. Oak's notes on me. "Have you been talking to Prof. Oak?" I asked slightly annoyed. Before she could answer, there was the distinct sound of someone running up the steps outside my door. The next thing I knew, Bugsy was sitting beside my bed so he could look at me with a look on his face as if he was an inch away from his childhood hero. "Yes Bugsy, I can take questions now." I said with as much sarcasm as I could muster. Ellie started giggling. "Why didn't you tell me?" Bugsy asked excitedly. "Teams Rocket and Flare are after any info they can get about me and you're seriously asking why I kept the fact of who I am a secret from a Gym Leader I just met?" I asked. Bugsy understood now and looked slightly disappointed. "Sorry Bugsy, I'm just tired still from the loss of energy." I said. "I promise, when I'm feeling better, I will answer all of your questions." Bugsy lit up like I had just promised him all the candy he could eat. He left to let me rest and Ellie was laughing hysterically.

"Can I just stay here for a year? That's how bad I feel right now." I said. "You haven't tried to regain your energy. You're probably still drained. Hasn't your body been producing some of the energy?" Ellie asked. "Some, but not enough to make me not feel like I'm drained. I'd guess I'm at about forty to forty five percent of my energy just based on how much my body produced." I said. Ellie kissed me lightly to make me feel better. "How much do you need before you can come down stairs for a meal?" Ellie asked. I started to get out of bed. "Fifty to fifty five percent before I can get down there. Let me do some meditating and I'll come down." I kissed her back as I got in the floor. She left so I could meditate. As I started to meditate, I saw a vision of a snake like Pokémon in a cave resting. It was green and black. It seemed as if it was calling out to me. I stopped meditating for a second. "If I try to reach the Astral Plane, I use part of the energy I've gained. Plus, I don't even know if that Pokémon is a Psychic Type." I thought to myself. I went back to meditating after deciding that the Astral Plane wasn't worth it. I saw the Pokémon again, but this time, it spoke to me. "I can sense you looking at me Legendary Trainer. I'm glad to see you are ok after all that has happened." The Pokémon said. Its voice was very earthy in tone.
