Chapter 7: Finally mine...

A/N: BACK INTO JASONS POINT OF VIEW

He's just... laying there. Like this is nothing. When I'm sitting here freaking out. Something I've dreamed about since eighth grade is finally happening... Honestly didn't know what to feel.  Excitement? Euphoria? Happiness? Sadness because this wouldn't last? My heart was beating a million miles an hour at this point, the only thing racing faster than my heart was my thoughts. After probably 15 minutes, JJ was the one who broke the silence

"Dude, your heart is about to beat out of your chest. Are you ok?" He asked. 

This of course made my heart beat faster. Then it hit me. Unless he truly was still drunk, he had to either know, or be doing this on purpose for his own motives.... That was not something like JJ to want to cuddle with another guy. So either I'm totally off and if I act based off of what I am thinking right now it could very possibly ruin our friendship.... or everything that I've wanted for year could happen right now. You know what, as JJ would say,

Fuck it.

"Uuumm" I said awkwardly scooting out from underneath JJ. " We need to talk" I said trying to sound level
"Yes?" JJ said coolly, acting as if  nothing strange had happened.
"Aaaahh Um" I said, slightly panicking not knowing how I was going to possibly construct my next sentence so shakily, I started
" Ok, JJ look I-" I was cut off. But not by him saying something, I was cut off by his lips pressed against mine, and suddenly every single inch of my skin was practically on fire. Time slowed, and my mind turned into a void of nothingness, completely blank devoid of any previous thoughts worries or stress. His lips were soft, surprisingly so since they are usually chapped. He kissed gently but with purpose, like he was afraid to hurt me or something, but it was still with an un-matchable passion. Then as suddenly as it started, it ended and he pulled away, and I slowly opened my eyes. 'Did that just happen' I thought to myself, reaching up to feel my lip. My eyes must have been the largest they had ever been in that moment, and he looked at me and gave me a crooked smile 
"So does that pretty much some up what you were going to say?" he asked
" Yes... yeah.. I gu-guess it does" I stutter still in shock, and then he leaned in again. This time he was more confident, kissing more firmly and stronger than before. Again every inch of my body tingled and felt alive. 

When he pulled away again he smiled even bigger this time, and then waved his hand in front of my face with a chuckle
" You ok there?" he asked. I guess I still had that deer in headlights shocked look on my face
" Yeah yeah I'm better than ok" I said
" Well good... Cuz I kinda... I love you man" he said. I could tell that he didn't mean it as just a friend, (Obviously he just kissed me for gods sake!)
"I love you too JJ" I said a smile dancing across my face, and then his. 
Then he layed back on the couch, and made a motion inviting for me to lay on top of him, and with this still feeling very foreign to me, I slowly and awkwardly moved closer and was trying to carefully lay down, and then he roughly grabbed me in his arms and pulled me close 
"Cmon man I'm still your best friend you don't have to act all funky because of what just happened" he said with a chuckle, which made me happy. He was my best friend, I was just nervous.
" So... are we gunna make this exclusive?" he asked, And my mind was still reeling. JJ, the guy who I thought was utterly and entirely straight for years... is asking me to be his boyfriend?.... HELL YEAH!
"If you want to, yes" I said, opting for a cooler choice of words
"I'd like that" he replied, and then I settled further down into his arms and he gave me a kiss on the forehead, and I nuzzled into his chest. My hangover was completely forgotten, if it was even still here I didn't care. JJ still looked a bit pale and under the weather however..but also adorable. This whole situation was surreal, He was finally mine.....
