Chapter 11: Game Day

THE NEXT DAY

 Through all the exciting things that had happened over the weekend, I nearly forgot that today I had a game shortly after school at 5. This was my third year on varsity as one of the teams forwards. I woke up rather early, about 5 am and packed my soccer bag. I choose my FG superfly's for today's game, and all the other attire that was needed. My number? 7. The same as that of my favorite soccer player ever, Cristiano Ronaldo.  After that I did my hair and got dressed, by now it was about 6:30. I decided to send a text to JJ 
" Hey you up?" I asked. I honestly wasn't expecting a reply, JJ was never up this early, so much to my surprise, he did in fact reply.
"Yeah, hows your morning going cutie?" he replied making me feel all butterfly-y again. 
"Good, and yours?"
"It would be better if you were here..." He said. I nearly cringed at how cheesy we were, but I kinda really loved it.
" Im on my way" I said grabbing all my things for school and the game and put them in the car and hopped in before driving to JJ's house. When I pulled up I checked my phone before getting out of the car 
" Im waiting" JJ had replied, which I must have missed in my rush to get over here. 
" Im here" I replied quickly. I noticed there were no cars in the driveway, His mother was a surgeon so she was gone and worked at odd inconsistent hours. 

I then got out of the car and walked up to the door to be greeted by JJ, shirtless and in basketball shorts, gaming headphones on his head. He practically jumped forward and kissed me before I could say hello, he tasted intensely of toothpaste and cinnamon toast crunch. Not that I'm complaining.
" Hi " I said halfway gasping for air, halfway laughing.
"I missed you!" he said as we walked inside

" I missed you too babe" I replied as he sat back down and picked his controller back up, then throwing me a controller. 
" Ready to get your ass kicked in madden babe?" He asked to with witch I rolled my eyes. He was practically an expert at that game, I was pretty decent myself, as thats aaallll he and I ever played when I came over. Of course at my house, it was the same case, except instead of madden, it was fifa so I guess it balanced out. 

As per usual, JJ won, and after he won he jumped up with his arms up in the air in celebration
"YES" he yelled as well. He was so competitive, which was cute. I personally was more competitive with real life sports, but he was competitive on and off the field. For most things. 

" Yeah yeah I just let you win because you're hot" I said.
" MMMhmm keep telling yourself that" he said before quickly pecking me on the lips. His scruffy unshaved cheek tickled my face, and I used to be a strong advocate for no hair at all except for on your head, and then JJ didnt shave anything at all except for trimming his facial hair down to his usual look. But all of that was kinda growing on me... 

A little bit of time, and a lot of kisses later, he went and put on an Under Armour muscle shirt, which if I do say so for myself he looked very very nice in. 
" Ready to go?" He asked
" But its only 7:40?" I said sarcastically " You mean the JJ rowe wants to be... *gasp* On time?? To school???" I said with a chuckle
" You're lucky you're adorable " he said narrowing his eyes at me
" Oh am I?" I replied with a slight taunt

" Adorable? God yes" he said kissing me again. 

" So you're going to be at my game tonight right?" I said
"Of Course" he replied " You better win though... that way we can have fun celebrating later" He said
"Hmm I guess that will just motivate me more than" I replied.

After this small conversation we got in our car and headed to school, on time, and for once we actually learned something in first hour rather than Mrs. Robertson screaming at us. It was kinda nice. The rest of the day went as per usual, I had a small conversation with Charles, who over the weekend actually started dated Alexis Harvey. 
" Yeah im really sorry about what JJ did.. He just was super drunk" I said
" Ehh I'm over it. Shit happens." Charles replied, bruises and cuts from impact starting to heal on his face. Damn JJ really messed him up... 
"Yeah he feels really bad about it" I continued
"Its alright. We have been friends forever and JJ is your best  friend, so ill forgive him"
"Thanks man" I said closing the conversation. 

Me and JJ met at our usual spot, and he asked if he could drive my Mercedes to the game. Anybody else I would have said hell no, and I had told him no before, and so when I handed him the keys he acted like a little kid in a candy store.
After saying our goodbyes for the moment, I walked into the gym of our school and then to the locker room to meet up with the rest of the team, and we all grabbed our equipment

" Heeeyyy Jason, ready to kick some ass tonight man?" Raphael, another one of my  friends, and the other starting forward, said as I walked in
" You know it man." I said. Our team was undefeated this year, and I planned to keep it that way. Regionals where in a couple weeks and we were pretty much guaranteed to qualify at this point.

The whole team loaded up on our bus, and I took the window seat, with raphael claiming the window seat was too cold for him. I didn't feel a difference, but whatever. Shortly after I got onto the bus, I checked my phone and received a rather... um....promiscuous... if you will.... image from JJ, causing my jaw to drop. God. DAMN. That boy is fine. 
"Ill be waiting for you after the game, good luck!" a message sent after the picture said.

The bus finally got to the stadium where the game was going to be held, and both our side of the stands and the home teams side of the stands were jam packed, I looked for JJ and his friends for a moment before seeing a good portion of the football team, and JJ in some of the front rows. I thought about waving but figured he probably wouldn't see me until I was on the field. I was starting tonight, and if all went well I would be playing the whole game.

And it did.
In fact it went VERY well

"That poor goalie had no idea what the hell hit 'im!" i exclaimed to Raphael and the rest of the team once we got back into the bus on our way back to our school.  It was true, the goalie tried, but... lets just say I bet he wont be starting for a while. By the time the full 90 minutes had passed, the score was 7-2, us. I scored four goals, raphael grabbed two, and another teammate scored the other one. Once we got back to the school, I walked out to the parking lot after saying goodbye to Coach and the team, and saw JJ waiting in my car for me. I hadn't changed out of my uniform yet, and even though it was cold out side I was still slightly sweaty from the game. I got into the car and JJ excitedly greeted me
" YOU DID FUCKIN AWESOME" he said enthusiastically, even though he didn't play anymore, JJ really enjoyed soccer and always got super excited when we had a big win. He put his hand on my thigh and leaned over to kiss me, and after a few minutes the windows started to fog up in the dark parking lot. 'too bad this car doesn't have a big back seat....' I thought to myself before JJ pulled away starting the car and then we headed to my house.  Once we got there, JJ walked over to my side of the car and opened the door for me, then literally carried me into the house, laying me down on the couch when we walked in, and he started to pull my soccer uniform off. From there, lets just say, we definitely had quite the celebration, this time however it wasn't just JJ who was in control. We sort of flip flopped dominance, and positions. After wards we were both completely worn out, and I was especially exhausted due to having played in a game earlier, even though it was only about 9 pm. We decided to shower together again, which was quickly becoming one of my new favorite things to do, and then flopped down into my bed cuddling into the blankets and each other turning on Netflix. Depending on how you look at it, to some it would be considered your cliche cheesy Netflix n chill type date, but to me it was a perfect 'goals' date. We fooled around, and now I was cuddling and relaxing while watching a movie with a gorgeous man next to me, I mean how much better could things get?

A/N: BOOM longest chapter ive written haha. Also I felt like I shouldnt write another full fledged love makin' scene because I dont want that to become what the book is about, but they are a new couple who love eachother ALOT so there is gunna be some frequent... play time lol. If you want more detailed scenes  of this sort randomly ( i wont do them too often again for previous stated reasons) Let me know!!!!
