Screams echo throughout the entire bunker sending chills up my spine. One bloodcurdling scream from a small child makes me feel freaked out the most. Everyone is shouting at one another as if that will make any difference. I can hear people shuffling around and someone bumps into me but I cannot see a single thing. I try and let my eyes adjust to the darkness but nothing happens, except it looks like some shadows are moving.
All around the room, these shadows are moving around people, weaving in and out of the crowd. It is hard to make these people out properly or to see what they are doing. There does not seem to be any patterns within their movements, instead the shadows randomly move around the crowd.
Suddenly, the candles are alight once again, leading me to believe that they are probably electrical lights rather than actual candles. Rubbing my eyes, I look around the bunker once again to see that not much has changed other than the people in black are now carrying large guns. A rush of people realise this at the same time I do and the screams begin once again.
This time the terror in people's voices is amplified even more by the sight of the rather large guns. One child moved behind their fathers leg while another throws up in fear. I do not think that I am that far behind them, I wish I could hide behind someone at this point.
"ON YOUR KNEES! HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD!" One of the men in black shout and immediately people begin to fall on their knees.
I stay standing, watching the people around me. A few other's remain standing, mainly the men, but there are a few women who are still standing.
"I thought you were on our side?" One of the men who are still standing shouts the men in guns.
"We are only after one thing. NOW GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES!" This time no one is left standing. I quickly get down on my knees and place my hands behind my head like everyone else in the room. "GOOD, GOOD. Now I bet you're wondering why this is all happening, well we have been told that there is a spy here on camp.
'We plan to weasel this spy out. If you have any information then come forward now otherwise every hour someone will die. Starting now!" the rebel shoots the man who had just questioned him, straight through the head.
No one screams, no one shouts, instead everyone is shocked into silence. At least we know there is no empty threat in what the rebels are saying.
"TURN AROUND AND FACE THE SCREEN. THE BOSS HAS SOMETHING TO SAY!" We are then ordered. Everyone turns around at the same time to face the screen which is slowly turning itself on.
A face begins to form on the screen, one that I have only seen a handful of times yet I can recognise who it is straight away.
Ash Crow.
There he is, sat behind a desk, his face looking very smug. His hair looks exactly the same as before, the same ridiculously light blonde hair, stuck up on the top of his head. His skin is so pale that he looks almost translucent and his cheeks are hollow. Even though Crow looks like he is close to death, he is still one of the scariest men I have ever seen in my life.
"Have I got everyone's attention now? Good. As you know, I am Ash Crow, the leader of the A Group, the rebels who are against everything the palace does. Now this is not out of pettiness or spite but out of the stupidity which is our queen.
'You probably know how she ignores this zone completely, calls it rebel centre. Well she wouldn't be wrong there but that does not mean we don't have basic human rights. The palace continuously attacks us here and then leaves us with no place to live. We build up this camp so there is a safe place for our people. In fact, we have numerous camps like this around the country for people like you to stay safe in.
