"This was such an impressive story I loved it. Alexandria is a great character, and you can see so well how she grows and learns from her experiences through the story. The world you described is very believable. The plot is entertaining and exciting to read, but at the same time it has depth, meaning and importance. The supporting characters were very likable and I really cared about what happened to them all and felt connected and invested in the ending. Your last chapter concludes the story very well. Your writing has improved so much since Fingerprints, and the progress can be seen throughout this book as well. I remember you telling that you quit writing Fingerprints and returned to it after months. Now you have two COMPLETE novels under your belt. Amazing!
I loved how haunting this book was, and how it showed all the downsides to being a queen. It isn't all rainbows and flowers, and that is a really important message to preach. You have done a wonderful job at that.
Also, Ria is so tough and such a badass (I hope my comment doesn't get reported as offensive for the use of this term) . I love her defiance and her character development was so interesting to read. She has come a long way.
