Chapter 5

L u k e 's P.O.V

It was still very strange the way Michael just left like that. I do have to say he's not like I thought he would be. Great way to start off the break.

*week later (of that break)*

Each day I have not heard from Michael, I guess he must of gotten sick or something. I guess I'll go check up on him. I got out the phone book and looked for Michael's parents names. I found the Clifford's and seen the address. I put a little beanie on , and a jacket. It's about 6:00 so it will get dark fast. I hopped into my car and turned on the radio to waste the time as I drove there.

I stopped my car down the road a bit and walked down to where his house would be located. I stopped in my tracks when I saw Michael walking up to his doorstep. He unlocked his door and stepped in. Right when he was in I made why way over.

I stepped over a few bushes and snuck to the window to see what was going on.
"Where the hell were you?!" Michaels father shouted.
"I was just walking" he explained.
"Hah, you little liar! Come here, I gotta tell you something." he said.

Michaels dad was drunk too because there were like 6 beer bottles on the table. Michael began to walk to him until his father jumped up and pushed Michael down to the ground making him hit the side of his head on the corner off a wall and scraping his shoulder on the medal. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I found myself screaming "Michael!!" And I ran into there house right before he smashed a glass bottle onto his head. I pushed him back and grabbed Michael and put him on my back. I ran out of the door and put him in my car.

No way was I going to set there and watch that horrific scene. There was blood all on the side if his head, he needed help fast.

Finally we arrived at my house and I say him on the couch as I ran to the restroom to grab a whole bunch of towels. I wrapped it around his head after I cleaned it and just let him sleep. It's what he needed. His heart was beating super fast. I bet from what had happened...
