Chapter 5

I woke up to Jared shaking me to tell me dinner was ready. I had no idea I had slept that long.
"What did you make?,"I asked Jared.

"I made stuffed chicken breast and green beans."

"How'd you know that was my favorite!?"

"Well I really enjoyed it before I turned........"

"Before you turned what??"
He hesitates for a while making me think something was up.
"Oh umm before I turned vegan . Yea vegan."

"Oh okay then why didn't you just make vegan food ?"

"I wanted to try to make you feel like you were at home because of everything that's been happening to
you."

"Oh well thank you so much Jared." I smile and make my way to the kitchen.
As soon as I sit down I begin to eat.

"Jared this food is so amazing!!"

"Thank you " he chuckles .

"Umm also while you're here Brooke I want to let you know of some places I want to keep off limits just for personal reasons."

"Okay what ones are they?"

"First stay out of the freezer in the basement . It's all nasty and I haven't gotten a chance to pitch it out....That's actually the only thing I wanted you to stay out of ." He laughs and I nod my head.

"Okay that sounds easy enough. So you just want me to stay out of the basement all together?"

"No no you can go down there but just don't open the freezer."

"Okie dokie sounds like a plan."

"Ummm Jared is it okay if I go explore this house that way I grow accustomed to it and I also need clothes ."

"Yea sure go ahead and while you were sleeping I bought you clothes . I sorta guessed on the size but I think I got the right ones. "

"Oh okay thank you and when I find the bathroom since I didn't get a chance to take a shower and I have to pee so bad ......shoot you didn't need to know that ...but anyway I'm going to do all that stuff. "I laugh.

" okay the bathroom is down two doors from your room." He laughs as he responds.

"Thank you" I go to my room and get the clothes Jared bought me and head to the bathroom. I do all my business and brush my hair and get dressed and Jared was exactly right about my size which is oddly weird to me.
I start to walk around and head to the basement first.
It's large and has a cute little game room and it also has a bathroom and theatre room . I then come to see the freezer. It's so intriguing and it doesn't look gross at all I step closer and I decide it won't hurt to look inside even though Jared told me not too. I start to open the freezer when I feel wind whip around me and the freezer lid slams back down and I see Jared angrily looking at me. What scares me the most is that his eyes went from forest green to a bright red.

"Jared ummm I'm sorry I didn't think it would hurt me and why are your eyes red."

"GET UP THERE NOW!!!"
Frightened I run up the steps but I trip and fall. Jared is still angry but then his eyes turn deep red when he sees that I cut my leg off the edge of the step.

"Jared are you okay you're scarring me."

"You need to go now before I do something I regret."

"Regret Wh..."
"GO NOW!!!"
I hurry up the steps again and run to my room and flop under the covers.

What did I get myself into.......
