Chapter 6

"Jared's POV"
I'm still in the basement trying to get myself under control. I can't believe Brooke would go against my rules. I'm not as mad as I am disappointed. I just don't want her to find out about me,she can't find out about me yet. However she saw my eyes so she's going to want to know. As of now I know she wants to know because I can hear her thoughts screaming in my head. One thought hits it right on the nail, she's wondering  if I'm a vampire which is true. The day I saw her being rushed into the hospital I knew she was my mate. I couldn't watch her die so I gave her some of my venom while I did my routinely check up on her. This is the only reason she healed so fast. I would sit in her room on my breaks just starring at her. She has beautiful dark auburn wavy hair , freckles along her nose and upper cheeks. Her body is of medium build and her lips are plump and make a heart shape almost. When she finally woke up on her third day of being in the hospital I got to see her beautiful emerald green eyes. Now I'm thinking to myself that she could've died again thanks to me. If I wouldn't have told her to go upstairs as soon as I did I would've drained her blood out of her body.
"Brooke's POV"
A few hours have past and I'm still in my room frightened as ever. My thoughts are jumping all over the place. The only thought that keeps jumping out at me is that Jared is a vampire, which scares me but also makes me curious. I keep thinking that he probably took me in just to keep me as his personal blood bag. I also can't help feeling attracted to him as well though. He is strong built, has black hair, lips that are almost a raspberry color, and forest green eyes that are so freaking gorgeous. As I keep thinking I get interrupted with the sound of the door opening and I see Jared.

" I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry for scaring you and no I did not take you in to have you as a personal blood bag." He chuckles.

"How did you know I was thinking that and wait, so you are what I think you are?!?"
"Yes I am a vampire, and to answer you question I read minds. I won't ever hurt you either I swear on that."

I can't believe what I just heard. I'm living with a vampire ......
