Is this a dream?

Chapter 7

"So you're really a vampire?"

"Yes I am."

"How long have you been one?"

"For about 265 years now."

"Holy....that's a really long time."

"Yea when I was in my last year of college I was 24 and was jogging and saw a lady in need of help. Turns out she really didn't because before I knew it she gets up whips around standing behind me making me drink her blood. After she does that she drains all of my blood leaving me almost lifeless. I awake to a tugging feeling in my throat and end up killing a man who is hiking. I went on a killing spree for about two weeks."

"Wow how did you get it under control?"

"I remembered that I went to school to save people not kill them. Now I steal blood bags from hospitals all over the world that way they all have enough to save people and that way I have enough to keep my hunger controlled."

"Is that what was in the freezer?"

"Yes. I didn't want you to find out as soon as you did, and I'm also surprised you haven't tried to run away yet." He cracks a smile and I smile back.

"Why would I? I'm better off here with a place to live than out on the streets. Cause do I look like the type of girl that wants to do that?"

"Well I don't know....."

"No I don't!!" I laugh and playfully punch him while he pretends to be hurt.

"Oh now you're going to pay for that little girl."

"Hey! I'm not a li...." I get cut off due to him tackling me onto my bed.

"Say you're sorry and I won't have to tickle you."

"Never!" He starts to tickle me vigorously.

"Okay okay stop I'm sorry!"

"What was that I can't hear you?!"

"IM SORRY JARED!!"

"Why thank you. Apology accepted." He laughs.

"Yea yea whatever."

"Umm do you want me to do it again?" He raises his eyebrow at me.

"No please no."

"I'm kidding. Come on let's go out I bet you're starving and I know just the place to go."

"Okay let me go get changed first."

"Alright I'll be downstairs." With that he walks out the door.

I look through the clothes Jared bought me and pick out a plaid button up shirt and a pair of leggings and a pair of flats that Jared bought along with my clothes, then I put my hair in a messy ballerina bun and head downstairs.
"I'm ready Jared." He nods his head towards me and we get into his bmw.

"So where are we going?"

"You'll find out when we get there."

"Ugg I hate surprises."

"Well get used to it sweet heart." He laughs and I can't help thinking I'd like to choke him.

"Ah ah wouldn't want to hurt the man who's driving."

"Would you stay out of my head??"

"I can but I won't cause you're interesting. I also like to know you think my butt looks good."

"Haha, I never thought that." I laugh nervously.

"Hmmm must've been my imagination then."

"Yea must've been."

"Brook I know you thought it and it's okay cause yours is pretty nice too." He winks while I blush and tell him to shut up.

"Awe is Brookey blushing?"

"Jared stop." I laugh as I speak.

"Okay but only cause we're here."

I looked up and saw that we were at Olive Garden. We ordered our food and ate then went home.

"Thank you so much for the food."

"My pleasure,"he smiles.
I looked at the clock and saw that it was only 7:30.

"Do you want to watch a movie?"

"Yea lets go down to the movie room."

So we walk down and put in the movie If I Stay. I only make it through half of the movie and end up falling asleep.

"Jarred's POV"
I saw that Brooke fell asleep so I take her up to bed. This girl means so much to me already. I just can't get attached too much.
