After Gaston attacks the Beast's castle, they start to battle it out. They're on the roof, and the Beast is hanging on for his life to a rod of a statue. Gaston smirks and holds a sword up to the Beast when Belle screams the Beast's name and alerts him that she returned.
The Beast's eyes brightens up as he hears her voice and he struggles to come up but Gaston stabs his shoulder weakening his grip which causes him to fall from the top of the castle into a flowing river below.
Gaston turns around smirking and sees Belle standing behind. He walks over to her and hugs her as though claiming his reward. She stands frozen, still processing what she had just seen.
Did the Beast just fall off the castle? Did he just die?
