The best thing of life is relationships of love -
Relationships that are there when push comes to shove.
Never once will you question their feelings for you,
For you know that to you they will be true.
They love and they trust with all their heart.
They help you through the light and the dark.
They hold you high - up oh so tall;
But they help you up when you slip or fall.
They're there as a shoulder when you need to cry.
They hold you tight till your tears run dry.
They make you laugh till tears drop down.
They make you smile if you wish to frown.
These true relationships are exceedingly rare,
But can be made with tender love and care.
This is the best thing I have of mine,
And I hope the love never dulls of shine.
