"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim; we swim"
My phone goes off telling me that it is time to wake up.
"Oh shut the hell up," I say hitting my phone screen multiple times until I finally hit the off button that makes Dory's voice stop playing at top volume.
I quickly cuddle in my blankets one more time before making a dash to my closet to grab my clothes for the day. I then tip-toe to bathroom to get ready for the day.
I hurriedly tug on my jeans which I brought with me and throw on my pink blouse. I then do my make up as heavy as I can. Thick eyeliner, mascara, and dark lipstick -these help hide your flaws- I also cake on my blush and foundation just to make sure my face looks like society thinks it should.
Just before I leave I look in my mirror and give myself my daily pep talk.
"You are kind. You are beautiful. You are smart. Words cannot bring you down. Words can't hurt you; because you are strong. You are stronger than anyone could believe; and I love you." I kissed my hand and put my hand onto my reflection then I turned on my heels and ran downstairs ready to brace my day; because I AM strong.
