Chapter 3

RYDELS POV.

"I'll go" Maia said as she made her way to the backyard

As soon as Maia walked outside we all ran to the back window to see what was going on. *5 minutes later*

"Ross I'm sorry I don't like you like that. Your more of a brother to me than a boyfriend" Maia said to ross

You could see the hurt in ross' face, but just as Maia was about to leave ross did the unexpected and kissed her.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! He's kissing her!" I squealed to the boys quietly

"Wow, I never knew he would go that far" Rocky said

We all just sat there watching to see what was going to happen next

ROSS'S POV.

"Im sorry ross I don't like you like that, your more of a brother to me than a boyfriend" Maia said

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, the girl that I love doesn't love me back. I was hurt, I felt like my heart just shattered into a million pieces. I just stood there until I did what I had to do. I kissed her. I cupped Maia's face with both of my hands and smashed my lips onto hers. You could tell Maia was shocked, she didn't kiss me back until I was about to pull away. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I placed my hands on her hips. I smiled against her lips, this was the best feeling in the world. After about a minute of kissing, Maia pulled away.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you back. I uh need to go, I have to shoot the fosters in the morning" Maia said as she looked down and walked through the back door.

"Don't you need a ride?" I asked

"Umm it's fine I'll just... ask Rydel to take me home" Maia said

"Oh... Okay" I said sadly as she walked away leaving me in the backyard alone

MAIA'S POV.

As I was about to walk away Ross cupped his hands around my face and kissed me. I was shocked, and just as he was about to pull away for some reason I kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his hands on my hips. I pulled away from the kiss after about a minute.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have kissed you back. I uh need to go, I have to shoot the fosters in the morning" I said waking towards the door

"Don't you need a ride?" Ross asked

"Umm it's fine, I'll just ask... Rydel to take me home" I said going into the house

"Oh... Okay" ross said sadly

As I got inside I walked back to the living room to talk to Rydel.

"Hey Rydel, can you give me a ride home?" I asked

"Yeah of course" she said as she got up out of the chair

She grabbed the keys and we headed to the car. We didn't talk the whole way to my house.

"Rydel I know you and the boys saw what happened" I said to her

"Yeah... Sorry about that" Rydel said

"It's fine, but nobody and I mean nobody can know about it. I don't even know why I kissed him back! All I know is that it can't happen again" I said to Rydel

"Got it! But before you get out of the car, will you please come to the party on Friday!" Rydel begged

"Maybe, I'm shooting the fosters that day so it depends" I said getting out of the car
