Chapter 7

MAIA'S POV.

It's been a month since me and Ross broke up. I'm really glad he took it well and didn't try to make me change my mind. I know the brake up has been hard on Ross and it's been hard on me too. But lately I've been trying to not think about Ross because a couple weeks ago I ran into my really good friend, Evan, who was one of my friends that lived in Australia with me. I use to have a crush on Evan when I was a little younger and just seeing him again brought that crush back. Evan and I hangout almost everyday and just catch up on what we've missed from each others lives. Evan is coming over today to hangout with me again.

"Hey Evan" I said as I opened the door for him and smiled

"Hey beautiful" Evan said as he came inside and hugged me

"Want anything to eat or drink?" I asked trying to be nice

"I think I'm good right now, I just want you to sit down with me so we can talk" Evan said giving me a smile

It always made me blush when he did that.

"O...okay" I said nervously as I sat down next to him

"So the last time we hung out you told me about your roles and the cast in teen beach movie and the fosters. What do you want to tell me about now?" Evan asked half smiling

God he's so cute when he does that half smile thing!

"Umm I hope you don't mind but... I kinda want to tell you some personal stuff" I said looking down

"Of course I don't mind. You can tell me anything you want, I'm all ears" Evan said facing me more

So I told him about Ramy. I told him everything that he did to me and how he cheated on me. I started crying a little and Evan grabbed my hand and rubbed his thumb along the top my hand. I then got to the topic of Ross. I told him how Ross and I had a great connection on teen beach movie and how we started dating. I told him about the date we went on and how Ramy showed up and everything following that. I started balling remembering how hurt Ross looked when we he saw Ramy kiss me. Evan wrapped his arms around me and hugged me.

"I'm so sorry Maia. You shouldn't have been put through that. Both of those guys were lucky to have you and they just let you go. If I were Ross I would've fought for you." Evan said pulling away from the hug and looking straight into my eyes

After Evan said that I realized that Ross should've fought for me and instead he just gave up.

"Thanks Evan but it's not your fault. And I wish Ross and Ramy were more like you." I said staring up at him

We just sat there staring at each other until Evan started leaning in. Then I started leaning in and I closed my eyes as I felt his hot breath on my lips. We kissed for about 30 seconds and then we pulled away. I just smiled at him, the kiss was great but I didn't feel as much sparks compared to when I kissed Ross. What am I doing?!? Stop thinking about Ross, Maia! You just need to focus on Evan.

"Wow" Evan said smiling

"Yeah" I said smiling back

"Maia I've been wanting to ask you something since you left Australia."

Omg, is going to ask me out?!? What do I say? Should I say yes or no? Just shut up and listen to what he's gonna say!

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked nervously

"Yes" I said smiling

This should be good for me. It will get my mind off of Ross and my feelings for him.

"Really?!?" Evan asked shocked

"Yes, of course I'll be your girlfriend" I said smiling

Evan smiled back and kissed me softly. At this moment my life was worry free.
