Chapter 10

MAIA'S POV.

As I wake up I feel Ross' arms around me in a strong grip. I look up at his face and stare at him. He looks so cute and peaceful when he sleeps. I smile as I see him start to wake up from his sleep.

"Good morning handsome" I say while kissing Ross on the cheek

"Morning beautiful" Ross says smiling down at me

"How'd you sleep?" I ask staring at him

"I think that was the best sleep I've ever gotten" He replied smirking

"Good. I'm glad" I said resting my head back on his chest

"Were you watching me sleep?" Ross asked looking down at me

"Maybe" I say smirking and tracing patterns on his bare chest

He doesn't respond. He just looks at me and smiles.

"Why are you staring at me?" I ask slightly smiling

"Because your beautiful" Ross responds smiling

I look up at him and kiss him. It was a short and passionate kiss. After the kiss I lay my head back down on his chest. We laid in bed quietly for a couple minutes until I decided to break the silence.

"What do you like about me?" I ask out of nowhere

"Everything. Your personality. Your smile. Your giggle. Your curves. Your eyes. Your strength. The way you scrunch your nose. The way you just like to cuddle up and watch movies and talk. The way you are so down to earth. The way you look at me when you laugh. And I don't like those things, I love them." Ross says smiling at me

I look down and blush. I have never heard Ross say that before. I get taken out of my thoughts when Ross lifts my chin up, so I'm looking at him. With his hand still on my chin, he leans into kiss me. As I start to lean in, I smile and close my eyes. When I feel our lips brush together I feel fireworks. The kiss was nothing like the kiss earlier this morning. The kiss was heated and passionate. Ross slides his tongue across my lower lip asking for entrance. I slightly open my mouth allowing entrance. Ross is now on top of me kissing me harder. I decide to gain control, so I flip us over so that I'm on top. I start kissing Ross' neck leaving hickeys. Ross groans and flips us over again so he is on top. Ross kisses my lips and leaves a trail of kisses down my jawline to my neck. I moan and grab his face to connect his lips with mine again. Ross pulls away and just stares at me breathing heavily. I stare back into his eyes with my hands still on his cheeks.

"I love you, Ross." I say breathing heavily

"I love you too, Maia" Ross says staring at me

"We should probably get dressed" Ross says starting to loosen his grip on me

"Do we have to?" I say groaning

"Yes, because I have a surprise for you" Ross says smirking

"What are you up to, Ross?" I say smiling

"You'll see" He says still smirking

"Fine" I say getting out of bed

After getting dressed I went in the living room to see Ross.

"So where are we going?" I ask confused

"It's a surprise, Maia" Ross says

Ross and I both get in the car and he starts driving to the surprise.

As we're driving I start to get really nervous. I usually don't get nervous when I go on dates, especially with Ross.

Ross must've noticed me getting nervous because he reaches over and holds my hand and gives me a reassuring smile.

After a few minutes of driving around, Ross pulls up to a parking lot. As I was unbuckling my seat belt Ross reaches over and puts a blindfold over me.

"Ross, what are you doing?" I ask smiling

"Putting a blindfold on you so you don't see where we're at" Ross says laughing

"Fine" I say laughing

Ross gets out of the car and comes over to my door and helps me get out. He grabs my hand and leads me to who knows where. I feel Ross stop pulling my hand so I stop walking.

"Can I take the blindfold off now?"

I ask laughing

"Yeah, here let me do it" Ross says walking behind me

As he takes the blindfold off I see that we're at the beach. The same beach we went to on our first date. Everything is set up exactly like last time. The blanket and picnic basket are in the same spot right under the tree. The tree is illuminated with lights and lanterns. I look over at Ross with a shocked and an awe expression on my face.

"I wanted to recreate our first date since it didn't go as planed last time" Ross says looking down at the ground

"Oh my god, Ross" I say walking towards him

"You don't like it do you? I knew this was a stupid idea" Ross says still not looking up

"Ross look at me" I say

"What?" He says looking up

"This wasn't a stupid idea. I love that you recreated our first date! This is the sweetest thing anyone has done for me" I say putting my hand on the side of his face

We stand there for a few seconds and just look into each others eyes. We both start leaning in until our lips touch. He puts his hand on my cheek and kisses me passionately. The kiss is filled with passion and lust. After a couple minutes we both pull away.

"So what do you have planned for tonight?" I ask smiling

"Well I was thinking we could have a picnic, then go for a walk on the beach and maybe more of what just happened" Ross says smirking

"Sounds perfect" I say sitting on the blanket

After hours of eating, walking on the beach and kissing, we decide to look at the stars. I lay my head on Ross' chest and wrap my arms around his waist.

"This is probably one of the best dates I've been on" I say to Ross

"Well I had to make it up to you somehow for our last first date" Ross says

"I'm just glad that Ramy or anybody else isn't here to ruin it" I say snuggling closer to him

"Me too" he says

After a few minutes of looking up at the stars I decide to break the silence.

"This is beautiful" I say still looking up at the stars

"Yeah, it is. But I don't think we're looking at the same thing" Ross said looking down at me

"I love you" I say, rolling on top of him, my thighs on either side of his body as I straddled him. Ross sat up from his laying position, bringing his face closer to mine. Our lips locked together as we kissed. I pulled back, just for a second to look at him before leaning back in to kiss him again, slipping my tongue in his mouth.

We kissed fast and feverishly, our lips moving in a hurry as if they were in a rush. Ross rolled me over in the grass, pinning me underneath him.

I don't remember how long we were making out, but I didn't want it to stop. This was the perfect second first date. No Ramy, no fighting, just me and Ross kissing. Everything was perfect.
