Chapter 6

MAIA'S POV.

"Maia?" someone behind us said

Me and Ross turned around and Ramy was standing right in front of us.

"Ramy what are you doing here?" I said as I stood up

"I wanted to talk to you alone" Ramy said eyeing Ross

"Why?" I said in disbelief

"Because I made a mistake" he said getting closer to me

"I'm sorry Ramy but I don't like you anymore" I said harshly

"Can we please just talk about this alone?" Ramy said glaring at Ross

"Fine" I said as I gave a re-insuring smile to Ross

I led Ramy over to a tree by the parking lot.

"Maia I made a huge mistake" Ramy said stepping closer to me

"Don't even bother Ramy! Do you even realize what you did?" I said harshly

"Yes I do, that's why I'm apologizing" he said sympathetically

"But I don't think you do. You cheated on me, you slept with another girl Ramy!" by now I was yelling at him

"I know Maia. I was drunk and I was being dumb." Ramy said as he looked down

"I don't even know why your trying to apologize to me! We're not getting back together!" I said screaming at him

"Maia I still love you. You can't just loose feelings for someone that fast." Ramy said as he looked up at me

"Yeah you can! Especially if you found out that they cheated on you." I said angrily

"Please just give me another chance!" Ramy said stepping closer to me

"I'm sorry Ramy, but I'm not taking anymore chances with you" I said looking away

"Maybe this will change your mind" Ramy said

Ramy grabbed my face and kissed me. He pushed me against the tree and was kissing me hard. I tried to break loose of his grip but he was stronger then me.

ROSS' POV.

I started getting worried about Maia. Her and Ramy aren't back and it's been 15 minutes. I started looking for them and was about to go back to the blanket until I saw Maia and Ramy kissing. My heart instantly broke into a million pieces. I just stood there unable to speak, I was paralyzed. They broke away from the kiss and Maia looked over at me.

"Ross" Maia said as she started to cry

"Forget it Maia" I said sadly and walked back to the blanket

"Ross it's not what it looks like!" Maia said chasing after me

"Really? cause it's exactly what it looks like!" I said furiously

"Please Ross! He kissed me and I tried to push him off me but he was too strong" she said crying

"If you didn't like me all you had to do was say it!" I said putting all the picnic stuff into my trunk

"I do like you! I love you!" Maia said still crying

"It's okay Maia. I'll make this easier on the both of us. Let's just pretend that everything between us never happened" I said getting into my car

"Ross, please!" Maia said crying even more

I started my car and pulled out of the parking lot. I looked in my review mirror and saw Maia standing there crying. It took all of me to not turn around and comfort her. I just told myself that she doesn't love me, she still loves Ramy.

MAIA'S POV.

I just stood there crying. My hearts broken, I just keep crying and crying. I called Rydel when I pulled myself together.

"Hey Rydel" I said sniffing

"How was your date? And why are you crying?" she said worried

"I'll explain later. Can you please come pick me up from the park?" I said starting to get teary eyed again

"Yeah I'll be there in 5 minutes" she said fastly

As Rydel pulled up I got in the car and broke down crying.

"Maia what's wrong? what happened?" Rydel asked worried

"Ramy showed up and tried to get back together. We were talking privately and we were just talking and he kissed me. I tried to push him off me but he was too strong. When he finally stopped Ross was watching and tried to tell him what happened but he wouldn't listen. He thinks I don't like him and that I never liked him in the first place. And then Ross drove off" I said through my tears

"Maia I'm so sorry" Rydel said hugging me

"Can you take me home?" I said wiping away my tears

"Yeah of course" Rydel said turning on her car

As we drove to my apartment Rydel kept trying to talk about things to get my mind off of Ross. Rydel pulled up to my apartment and let me get out.

"Thanks Rydel" I said giving her a slight smile

"Your welcome, if you need anything call me" she said smiling

"I will night" I said shutting the door

As I walked into my apartment I got ready for bed and layed in my bed with Sadie. I started to cry again and I couldn't stop. I was crying for 30 minutes until someone knocked on my door. I got out of bed and wiped my tears off my face. I unlocked the door and opened the door. I couldn't believe who was in front of me.

"Ross, what are you doing here?" I asked getting teary eyed

"I came over to make sure you were okay." Ross said stepping inside my apartment

"Oh" I said closing the door

"Are you okay?" he asked looking at me

"I guess" I said looking down

"Are you sure?" he asked getting closer to me

"Yeah I'm fine" I said annoyed

"Okay and I'm sorry what I said at the park" Ross said sadly

"It's fine but I do think we should just stay friends" I said looking up at him

"Wait, why?" he asked surprised

"I think we just need a break" I said sadly

"But we just started dating" he said in shock

"I know but all this drama is just too much for me. I can't be like this when I'm shooting for the fosters. I can't be depressed" I said looking back down

"But if we get back together you don't need to be depressed. And you don't think I'll be depressed for my show too?" Ross said angrily

"Please Ross, let's just be friends for now. I'm sorry" I said as I gave him a hug

"I'm sorry too" he said as hugged back

After we hugged Ross left. I did what was best for me and Ross. I climbed back into my bed and stared at the ceiling until I fell asleep.

I WAS ON INSTAGRAM AND SOMEONE SAID THAT MAIA AND ROSS DATED BEFORE MAIA STARTED DATING RAMY?!? IS THAT TRUE???
