A car picked us up from the club. We forced ourselves to only take one so it was a little crowded. Malcolm and Phil shared a seat in front and Angus and I shared a seat in back. Bon and Mark got the other two.

We reached our hotel, which Bon said we would stay in for awhile, at least until things calmed down. I wasn't too hurt but traveling may not be the best idea. Angus led me to the room with his arms around me. I almost objected but he wouldn't take no for an answer. Instead of sitting me on the couch he took me to the bathroom and I sat on the edge of the bathtub. He searched the cabinets for a washcloth and Malcolm came in with a bottle of some sort of medicine.

"I brought this in case the fans got a little wild," he chuckled. "It says more effective than water so go ahead and give it a try."

"Thanks." Angus took the bottle and poured a little on the washcloth. He then placed the washcloth on my cheek where Lucy hit me first, and held it there. I winced. "That hurt?"

"Maybe just a smidge." He smiled but it didn't last long.

"I'm sorry."

"This wasn't your fault."

"It's not just this it's- I brought Lucy here with us and she's made everybody miserable. Including myself," he mumbled that last part.

"Why did you bring her?" I asked. "Just out of curiosity." Angus looked at me for a while but didn't say anything.

"I'll tell you some other time," he finally said. "Right now we gotta get your bruises clean." He put more medicine on the washcloth and moved it to my neck. "Damn, she really got you didn't she?" I shrugged.

"I gave her a worse one."

"Really?"

"Right on her face." He smiled.

"That's my girl."

After Angus finished putting medicine on me he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and brought me out to the kitchen. "Stay here," he ordered and went into the pantry where the fridge was. He came back with some ice in a bag and gave it to me. "Keep this on your head for a while."

"Alright," I said putting it on my head. Cold, but it kept the pain down.

"Hope the guys didn't run off without us, there's no one here," Angus said checking the hotel room. He searched the back rooms and came back with his arms crossed. "They at least could have left a note," he pouted. We ended up staying at the hotel by ourselves since the band didn't show up till the next morning. Angus said they were probably at some party and didn't bother to tell us. The whole night was spent playing a board game we found and watching tv on the couch until we fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning alone with a blanket wrapped around me. A blue knit... Angus brought his baby blanket, how sweet. I put it over my shoulders and walked down the hall to find Angus brushing his teeth in the bathroom.

"Good morning," he managed with a full mouth.

"Good morning," I answered. He spat in the sink.

"How's your head?"

"Much better."

"That's good. The lads back yet?"

"No I haven't seen 'em." Angus wiped his mouth with the towel and smiled.

"So we have the house to ourselves again, eh?" I followed him out to the kitchen where he grabbed milk from the fridge. "Want any?"

"I see you brought your blanket," I told him.

"Oh yeah. I, uh, knew you liked it and I wasn't sure if you were warm enough so..."

"Thank you Angus," I smiled.

"No problem," he smiled back. "So that's a yes on the milk?"

"Please."

I dressed in my sweater dress due to the sun hiding behind the clouds for a while warding off the heat. Heading down to the lobby for a muffin, I saw Bon stumbling up to me obviously tired from the party.

"You got a headache Hannah?" he asked drinking from a water bottle.

"No..."

"Oh, I do. 'T's what I get I guess. Where's little Angie?"

"He's in the room. You alright Bon?"

"Never better! I'm a free spirit!" he slurred dropping his water bottle filled with- whiskey.

"Bon you need to go back," I said holding him up.

"Go back? I just got here!"

"No, the hotel!" He broke free of my hold and stepped away from me.

'M fine!" He burst out laughing and tripped over his water bottle. "Pardon me, Miss." No doubt about it. Bon was drunk off his-

"Bon!" Phil shouted from outside. "The hell are you doing?"

"Knittin' sweaters Ruddy! Want one?" Bon started laughing again and headed towards the elevator. "My head's killin' me." Phil ran inside but stopped once he saw me.

"Told him not to drink this early," he said shaking his head. "Please tell me you and Angus are in your right minds."

"We're fine, now what happened?"

"Come on Phil, I ain't got all day!" Bon yelled at the elevator.

"I'll tell you both in the room."

"Get him on the couch Ang," Phil said as they placed a passed out Bon on the furniture. "There's been too many incidents here, someone needs to calm down."

"Bon looks pretty calm," Angus joked. Phil made a face at him.

"We went to a friend's house for a few drinks last night and fell asleep there. Bon woke up thirsty and started drinking again."

"Surprise surprise."

"The MnMs are still at the house. I can get them if you want."

"Go ahead," Angus said. Phil left for the other two and I saw Angus looking down with his hands in his pockets.

"Angus?" He looked up. "Are you okay?" Without a sound he stepped closer and closer to me eventually backing me against the wall. I couldn't leave. What was he thinking? His eyes darted back and forth between mine, and he tilted his head. One step closer and...
