Finding You (under massive editing)

School

Rain starts sprinkling then dripping then it starts to pour. It's dark and musky out I can't see anything or where I'm at. Then I see her.

"KATNISS" I yell.

Her eyes shoot straight up and stare into mine.

"Peeta" she questions about to cry.

"It's me" I say and I run up to hug her but she turns into fog.

BEEP BEEP

I'm awoken by my alarm.

"Great just great" I say getting up from bed and going to the bathroom.

I turn on the shower nob and get in to await to hot water that I need to burn my mind away from Katniss.

Katniss if you could only hear my thoughts right now I miss you... A lot and it's hard to understand how much I miss you because you don't even remember me and if you did I probably wouldn't wanna remember me too but I wish I could be with you holding you, taking in the scent of pine needles and fresh grass, your shoulder to cry on, to help you remember, to love you forever and always.

"DING DING DING" I wake up and turn to my clock that says 7:00 on the dot!

I see Madge run in through the door she must have woken up just now too because she has mascara smudged under her left eye and a crazy case of the bed head.

"Morning Catnip" she says rummaging through my clothing picking out my first day back to school outfit.

"Morning Madge did you spend the night?" I question.

"Yea but go get ready that's not important" she says going through my dresser and closet.

I run to the shower because my feet have not fully adjusted to the cold tile floor. I strip down and jump into the warm shower it feels amazing.

Im done with my shower and I get out my blow dryer and straightener.

After brushing out the knots in my hair then blow drying my hair then finally straightening it I hear Madge knock on the door.

"Katniss I took a shower and got ready in your moms room are you almost done in there"she says tapping her foot impatiently.

"Yes just hand me my clothing already" I whine wanting to get out of this wet towel. She handed me a black form fitting V-neck, a red pencil skirt, and gold ballet flats.

I get out of the bathroom and Madge eyes me as I eye her back. She looks like she's tearing.

"Madge are you okay is something wrong" I ask almost panicking.

"No No nothing it's just just nvm" she says embracing me.

"Okay?"

"Ready"She asks.

"Ready as I'll ever be"I lie.

Truth is I'm terrified I still don't a lot about my "friends" other than Madge so how will I get through the rest of the year.

On the ride to school I stop at Starbucks.

When I get inside the smell of freshly brewed coffee and cheese buns reminds me of my fathers bakery back in Panem.

When I finally maneuver my way to the end of the line 2 blonde girls about my age walk up behind me in line.

"Omg he is so hot" One says.

"IKR I hope he goes to our school cause I call dibs on this hot thing" The other one closely follows.

I order my coffee ignoring them and head back to my car to drive off to my first day of school.
