"Come on sweety it's time to get up or you'll make us all late" I say shaking Katniss. Glimmer, Annie, Fox, Clove, and I have been at Katniss's house all week trying to comfort her and get her to talk to us but it's useless."Come on do it for us please Katniss please" Annie says removing part of the blanket covering her face. She lets out a groan as she heads straight to the bathroom.
"it'll be fine" Clove pats my back heading downstairs with the rest if the girls.

I head straight to the bathroom and lock myself in. I get down onto the cold tile floor and start crying."I miss you Peeta" I say rocking back and forth looking down at a picture Gale took of me and Peeta at the winter formal last year.(GASP!!WHAT YOU SAY???) Thats right I got my memory back 6-7 months ago I kept it an act to keep myself away from Peeta so I didn't get hurt anymore but bottling this up is only making it worse.
I unlock myself from the bathroom and see Madge is sitting on my bed with silent tears dripping."Hi" I quietly speak. She looks up at me with a faint smile that quickly fades."it's all my fault" she speaks. I try to talk but before I could she interrupts me."It felt like it was my job as your bestfriend to keep you 2 guys together even after what has happened" she starts but I finish."Madge I know" I say and she looks up at me with a confused look." I haven't been honest to yo-to any of you and what I'm about to tell you could cause a lot of pain to certain people so keep this a secret between you and I" I say and she gets closer to me."I got my memory back 6-7 months ago and I have kept it an act since" I say my head hanging low. She bursts into tears and hugs me."W-Wait K-Katniss does this mean you remember everything and by everything I mean Everything" she stutters putting emphasis on the last everything."From birth up until now"She gives me a satisfied smile."What about Peeta" she says wanting to take it back. A tear rolls down my cheek."Wait I didn't mean" she starts."Its okay"."He's the main reason why I decided to what I did, he treats me like his one and only one moment and then the next he is kissing some drunk blonde". My eyes drift to the window as I sigh letting a few more tears drop."Katniss I want you to know that I love you, your like a sister and I will always be there for you" she smiles hugging me again."Just make sure not to tell anyone and certainly not Peeta"."Promise"she says hugging me one last time.

"Promise" I say hugging her one last time.

I don't know how I should act right now my bestfriend practically sister just told me that her memory loss was an act for quite sometime but it was all to keep herself from Peeta who she still loves.

"Katniss do you wanna go to school or should I go tell the girls" I finally say

"I'm going" she says getting up

45 minutes later she comes out of the bathroom wearing maroon skinny jeans, a white knitted shirt and a black scarf with uggs."You'll be alright, right" I ask.

"Now that I told someone I'll be fine" she smiles and I just run up and hug her."Sorry" I say pulling away.

"Its okay you shouldn't be the one saying sorry" she faintly smiles.

We make it downstairs to the girls who look very impatient and tired. "FINALLY" Annie and Fox groan."What took you guys so long" glimmer chimes. Katniss and I exchange a glance."Nothing" I lie. They all roll their eyes and we head to the car.

I follow the girls into the school and Madge stays by my side as we enter.

"Ew"

"Seriously he wanted that"

"She's so unattractive"

"Why"

"I'm way better"

Every girl I pass must have something to say about me.

"It's okay I'm here" I smile at those words
As I'm walking to my locker someone fiercely bumps into my shoulder.

"Watch we're your going!" Madge yells at the person.

"Oops I guess I didn't see you" Peeta laughs."WTF DUDE" Gale and Finnick come in the hall."DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM HERE" Gale says about to punch Peeta but Finnick goes and does it for him. Finnick whispers something into Peeta's ear who is on the ground. "NOW GO" he yells and Peeta gets up and fastly walks past me not hitting me this time but making very short eye contact.
I didn't realize but my face is stained in tears and there is a group of people around us but I walk away and go to the bathroom. I lock myself in a stall and tears start dripping down. I remember when we first met, He was standing in the lunch line and I went up to him and scared him but when he turned around his whole face changed it's like he was only paying attention to me and had interest in every word I said but then he had to go and ruin it by kissing Alex and who knows how many girlfriends he has down at his grandmas. I start to think about the time we had at Gales dad's and everything before he turned into this monster.

"I miss you Peeta I miss the old you" I say out loud.
