Chapter 18 - Pretty Little Hope!

Jack's Pov

I've blown it, but I can't give up. I will still find out who is trying to kill her.

I walk back down to the computers and start typing again but this time I think about it differently.

I hear a sob from behind me and spin around,

"Streak?" I say shocked

"Jack" she frowns more tears bursting from her eyes.

She runs up to me and hugs me holding on tightly.

"I don't want to be alone" she cries

"it's ok!" I say hugging her back.

She pulls out, her eyes puffy and red,

"he was there" she frowns twiddling her thumbs

"who was where?" I ask confused

"the Doctor he was at my house, he saw me" She cries

"what?" I say

"he was just there, but, but he cried" she says gasping

I just hug her again and hold her close. I feel so sorry for her.

The Doctor's Pov

"Hope!" I yell just as she disappears.

Sh- She's alive.

But? How?

I need to trace her signal. I run out of her house and into the TARDIS, I'm sure Penny will be fine.

I type super quickly I need to get there before she leaves again.

I run out of the TARDIS and appear at Torchwood.

"Jack, Hope?" I say seeing them both hugging

Hope gasps in shock and disappears again.

"No!" I yell about to get back in TARDIS again

"Doctor, wait!" Jack yells making me turn around. He strikes me across the face and I black out.

Streaks Pov

I arrive. Where am I, I don't even know what I typed in. It looks like a shopping mall. I walk around for awhile before sitting on a bench. I wipe my eyes I dont won't people seeing me like this.

I see the bakery on the corner probably shouldn't go down there seeing as I work there. I walk out the front and walk around for a while.

I guess the Doctor won't be back at my house so I guess I could go back home. I arrive home and throw my self on the couch sighing.

I hear the front door open. I instantly stand up grabbing my gun.

"Who are you?" I ask as the person makes there way to the living room. I can't see who it is and right now I am shaking like hell.

"oh, Hope, pretty little Hope, gets what she wants all day long, until well I showed up and took every thing from you, not that you would remember" The woman says,

it's her?

"what do you mean!" I shout angry loading my gun

"oh, come off it Hope, I haven't got a gun I just want to talk" she smiles

"yeah and when I put it down, you'll shoot me" I spit

"Oh I see so much anger in you, I'm so proud!" she laughs

"what do you want?" I ask

"like I said just to talk" she smiles meanly

"really, I doubt that" I smile badly

She smirks and laughs a bit before hitting the gun out my hands,

"oih, you bitch" I say throwing her against the wall,

She kicks me in the ribs sending me backwards against the other wall, she readies her fist and runs towards me about to punch me. I duck and she hits the wall, she shrieks in pain and I throw her down onto her back.

Before I can run to my gun she grabs my foot and throws me down too. We both quickly jump up and she punches me on the side of the face. I yelp from the pain clutching my cheek, but I kick her in the shin and punch her in the shoulder.

I jump for my gun and she starts to run badly from the pain, I shoot and it hits her arm she screams before dashing away out of my house.

I- I just shot her? And I feel bad?

I need to get back to Torchwood.
