Chapter 22 - Peg Dolls

We walk around the city and I decide to question what we are doing.

"what are we doing and what happened to the banana you had?"

"well, we are going to find an adventure and I gave it to a stranger who looked like Albert Einstein" The Doctor smiles starting to pick up the pace, I must admit I have missed this.

I hear a gut clenching scream and spin around not knowing where it came from.

"what was that?" Jack asks as I start to run to the only place it could of come from

"now that is the Hope I used to know" The Doctor laughs following taking my hand as we run.

I scoot around a corner, see a girl being transformed into some sort of peg doll by a living peg doll.

"Doctor what is that" I say nodding to the peg doll with long raggedy old hair and dirty ripped up clothes that makes it look like something from a bad dream.

"A peg doll, but how are they here?" The Doctor says with his 'oh crap' face I look over to him and see him reach into his jacket pocket, he grabs out a banana

"you said you gave that away" I say

"the Doctor lies" the Doctor smiles

"um, Hope!" Jack says making me jump around right before a peg doll reaches out grab me, I quickly duck and grab the Doctors banana throwing it in at the dolls head before starting to run.

"ok, what the hell is happening?" I say smiling by the excitement

"we just found our selves an adventure and you just stole my banana" The Doctor laughs as we stop running and walk inside a unlocked house, the walls are bright orange and everything inside is bright and bold.

"well what were you going to do with it?" I ask

"uh, um shut up" he says thinking quickly

"ok, what were those things?" Jack says as I lie down on the yellow couch panting

"Peg Dolls" The Doctor replies

"what are they doing alive?" Jack asks shocked at how dolls are living

"well, there's only one way to say it, but its confusing but confusing has me written all over it, well not really but give me time and a crayon" The Doctor remarks making me laugh

"ok, but you didn't really answer my question" Jack says completely and utterly confused

"long story short, there is a race called the Tenza and I once met a boy who when he was scared of something would put it in his cupboard, but he had a special ability to send them into a doll house which was also in the cupboard meaning things came to life and my friends got trapped in there and so did I, it was dramatic, but, they were all destroyed, all gone how are they here"

"was that the long version or the short version?" I ask making the situation a bit more funnier

"very funny bow tie girl, but we are in danger I don't know how to stop these dolls" The Doctor says sitting on the couch next to me and sighing "but the thing I don't get is- actually no, ah, I think I know what to do!" the Doctor says jumping up off the couch and grabbing my hand.

"and what is that exactly" I yell running followed by Jack,

"there must be a Tenza here, and he or she made them come to life" The Doctor says as we arrive back to where the dolls were.

"they've gone" I sigh disappointed

"we have to find them" the Doctor says

"split up" Jack says as I run forward, Jack runs right and the Doctor runs left

I start running but there is no one around, I sigh when I reach a cross road

"hello" I hear a young girls voice say

"hello" I say turning around not seeing anyone

"Hope" the voice says like its an angel

"who are you" I ask spinning around becoming really nervous

"we know who's trying to kill you"

"yeah, we'll so do I" I smile

"or do you?" the voice says

I hear footsteps but they sound distant and I ignore them

"of course I do, I heard it with my own ears, what would you know your just a voice"

"or am I just a voice?" the voice asks

"who are you?" I ask again wanting an answer this time

"who am I?" the voice says "I am a voice nothing more, nothing less"

"really, well them how do you know what your are speaking if you don't have a brain"

"uh, you are wrong" the voice says forgetting about my last comment

"wrong about what" I say getting angry at the voice

"about who's trying to kill you" the voice says

"why?" I say a bit afraid and intimidated by the voice

"you'll find out" the voice says the voice stops and I'm totally confused

"hello? Are you there?" I ask.

I hear footsteps again behind and I pretend to not hear them, there within meters of me and I turn around about to punch the person before the person grabs my arm and holds me in a position so that I can not see there face.

"what do you want" I spit trying to break free

"for to stop punching people" I hear a familiar voice say

"Jack, you can let go of me now" I laugh as he spins me out of the hold.

"you scared the living daylights out of me" I smile

"good, you deserved it" Jack smiles

"why?" I ask

"you know who's trying to kill you, don't you?" Jack asks suspiciously

"no, maybe, I don't know, yes, no, yes" I say cracking under pressure

"who?" Jack says peering at me like I'm a suspect

"uh, um, oh" I struggle to say it he's got a gun he'll just shoot me, not it if shoot him first "You and the Doctor!" I spit pulling my gun out

"what?" he nearly screams

"oh, come on don't lie to me Jack, I heard the conversation" I say becoming closer to Streak with every word

"Hope were not going to kill you, why would we do that and what conversation?" Jack says becoming kinder with every word unlike me

"the one with that woman who told you to stab me through the heart" I say waving my arms madly.

"oh Hope!" Jack sighs, this doesn't sound good

"what?" I say a bit afraid

"she must of known you were there" Jack says pitting his hand my shoulder "you believe too much Hope"

"so your not going to kill me?" I asks lowering my arm sighing sadly, well I guess I'm not sad but releaved.

"no, you idiot" Jack says like he is my brother

"please don't tell the Doctor" I shrug

"of course" Jack smiles pulling me in for a friendly hug.
