Chapter 23 - Mama

The Doctors Pov

I walk and I cannot see a peg doll anywhere, I hear someone talking and rush over just to hear the end of the conversation.

What I hear suprises me. It's Hope and Jack, what could they be talking about?

I peer around the corner just so they are in seeing view

"no, you idiot" Jack says to Hope in a playful matter

"please don't tell the Doctor" Hope shrugs, what can't she tell me I need to know.

"of course" Jack smiles pulling Hope in for a friendly hug.

I walk up behind them and they don't even see me, I tap Hope on the shoulder which scares her causing her to jump round and slap me,

"Ow" I shout,

"OMG, I'm so sorry" Hope says her hands covering her mouth

"it's ok" I smile wrapping my arms around her

"what were you even doing there" she asks as we pull out

"oh, um, me, ah, I was, ah, spying on you" I say awkwardly

"You What!" Hope screams

"sorry, it's just you said my name and well" I say before being interrupted

"what did you hear?" she sighs

"I wasn't allowed to know something" I explain

"yay you understand the rules" Hope laughs

"please tell me" I beg,

"walk" Hope says as she starts to walk around "well I guess" Hope continues before getting cut off by a Peg Doll,

"Mama" it says causing us all to turn around

"Doctor your plan" Jack says

"um, well this wasn't part of it" I shrug

"um Doctor!" Hope says and I keep my eyes on the doll approaching

"mm" I say carelessly

"Doctor" Hope says again

"yes" I say again

"DOCTOR!" Hope yells at the top of her lungs

"what" I say looking at her, only to see that there are three dolls surrounding her "oh" I say grabbing out my sonic screwdriver

"Doctor what are they doing?" she cries as the dolls start holding hands forming a tight circle around Hope.

"Doctor, what do we do?" Jack says

"um there creating some sort of barrier keeping Hope in there" I say

"Mama" the dolls say

"I ain't your mama" Hope says terrified

"what so if they touch her, they turn her into one of them" Jack asks

"yes" the Doctor says sadly

"so? What do we do?" hope says hoping someone has an answer

"um, think, we could, no that would never work" I say rambling on

"Doctor, now what are they doing?" Hope asks making me look up at hope, the dolls have now lifted there hands up to make a sort of tipi around Hope.

With in seconds of them doing that a light shines and Hope and the dolls disappear in front of our eyes.

"Hope!" I call
