"Sawyer are you okay?" Asked Alex.
They were in Alex's appartement where Maggie moved in 2 years before.
"Yhea Danvers... just do it." She said while leaning back on the chair she was sitting on.
She never liked needles but she didn't want to look like a baby in front of Alex.
"This is gonna be quick." Said Alex calmly to reassure her beautiful girlfriend.
Maggie took a deep breath and closed her eyes has Alex put the needle in her belly. It didn't feel good but it wasn't has bad has Maggie thought it was going to be.
"All done!" Said Alex. She got up and placed a kiss on Maggie's head and pulled her in for a hug.
"It wasn't so bad, now was it?" Alex teased.
"Definitely not as bad as I thought."
They stood still for a moment and looked into each other's eyes.
"I can't belive we're doing this." said Alex with tears in her eyes.
"Me too baby." Said Maggie who gently wiped the tears from her girlfriend's eyes when she, herself, was starting to tear up too.
