Sister night

Maggie didn't have time to cook something to eat after all. They got way to busy with other things.

"I have to go. Your sister should be here any minute now. I texted her to bring you guys pizza." Maggie grabbed her coat, gave one last quick kiss to her girlfriend and then walked out the door.

Silence. Alex hadn't heard silence in days. She breathed in deeply and took it all in.
It didn't last long. She felt a gust of wind and turned around. Her sister had arrived, 2 boxes of pizza in her hands.

"Hey Alex."

"Hey."

Kara sat next to her big sister and opened up one of the pizza boxes. Both of them were starving. They didn't even thalk to each other. They just ate.

After devouring both pizzas, they decided to watch a movie. Alex let Kara choose the one they were going to watch.

They were half way through the movie when Kara noticed Something was going on with Alex. Her big sister was staring at her tummy and she had silent tears running down her face. Kara stopped the movie and put a hand on her sisters knee.

"Alex... whats wrong? Are you feeling okay?"

"I-I'm fine"

"Come on Alex. I know something is going on. You know you can thalk to me about anything."

Kara gently wiped away Alex's tears with her thumb. She hated to see her sister cry. The DEO agent was always so strong. She tried to always keep a brave face on.

"Do you think they'll love me?" She said still looking at her tummy that was getting bigger and bigger.

"Alex... of course they're going to love you. What are you thalking about?"

"But what if I'm not a good mom? I mean I already almost killed my babies and they aren't even born yet. What kind of mom does that? What if I screw up? What if because I screw up Maggie leaves? What if..."

"Alex. Alex. Stop. You're going to be a great mom. Okay? And of course you're going to make mistakes once in a while, everybody does. Even Maggie will." She gave a comforting smile to her sister.

"The important thing is that you love each other and you're going to do this
together. You'll even have me, mom and are friends to help you guys."

Kara always knows what to say to make her feel better.
She pulled her in to a hug.

"I love you Alex."

Alex let everything out. She cried in her sister's arms. Kara gently brushed her hair to help calm her down. She fell asleep in no time.
