Alex was asleep next to her wide awake fiancé.
Maggie couldn't sleep. She just laid there and watched Danvers sleep. She had a arm wrapped around her.
Everything was peaceful and calm when she felt something. Something moved under her arm. She lifted her arm and placed her hand instead. She felt them. For the first time, she felt them kicking.
A huge smile grew on her face.

"Hey there." She wispered.

"You better not wake momma up 'cause she's pretty grumpy in the morning." She let out a small giggle.

"You must be taking after mommy because you girls have a good kick. I think you're going to be strong, strong."

She gently caressed Alex's belly without taking her eyes off it.

"And you're going to be has beautiful has your momma too."

"Beautiful hein?"
Maggie looked up to face Alex.

"You're awake?" She asked blushing a little bit.

"I've actually been awake for a while. It's hard to sleep when I'm pretty they're already practicing on kicking some alien butts in there." Both woman laughed.

"You are amazing and I love you." Mags said.

"I love you too... but what was that about me being grumpy in the morning?" Alex teased knowing that she wasn't a morning personne.

"Goodnight babe."

And with that both woman tried going back to sleep.
